🕑 Added 2025-11-04 00:56:23 +0000 UTCNew build! Got bug fixes and balance changes this time :D There have been some reports of the game locking or crashing at specific moments. On defeating a monster, or on playing "Ponder", for example. I THINK that this bug was being caused by the game attempting to draw the card "Insult to Injury" to the players hand. I've fixed this bug and hopefully we'll see less crashes. Let me know if this turns out not to be the case!
The biggest change to this build is that Bite Lip is no longer included in the "flex" deck that can be shuffled into all stage decks, nor does it appear in any stage deck. Bite Lip is now only accessible via the card-summoning book, and has been replaced by a card called "Lesser Riches" in stage decks. Card summoning is still in early implementation, and will soon appear more than once per stage. This also means that other characters than Kat (when they are released,) will not have access to Bite Lip.
I also updated the art for the first stage, the Garden. There are now lilypads and some other decorations. No more empty space at the edges, weird seams, and black lines at the edges of the large stone dias in the middle of the stage.
Yeah! I'm too sleepy to be as articulate as I oughta be but yeah, the rest of the changes are listed below. I've also been working on the next big Hardcoded upate!! It's months in the making and I'm really hype to get it out soon! Soon, I might ask some of you for help with playtesting a new minigame that it includes. We Shall See. Thank you all for the support!
