It's Patreon version 14! This month we've got the first bits of the new pedestrian system, which right now just features random walking extras, but soon it will be expanded :D Also, Joi 1 is finally here! This little scene will introduce us to an extremely horny little story arc that we've currently got in the works. Also, this month I finally edited Beryl 5, which I'm sure many of you had noticed is rather off-tone versus the rest of the game. To be clear, most of what I've done was cut stuff from this scene, so going back and replaying probably isn't going to yield a very new experience, but some of the content in that scene had been bothering me since it's release and I'm glad its finally closer to something I can be happy with. The school location associated with that scene is also now accessible via the map after the scene is completed, but so far, nothing takes place there. Anyway, enjoy the update and thank you so much for your support!

- Timer retroactively applied to several scenes.
- Accidental instances of timer removed.
- Fixed duplicate furniture bug.
- Added global notification system, applied so far to machines and furniture.
- Added alternate portraits for Joi.
- Fixed a bunch of spelling errors.
- Fixed the text overflow in the miniportals toy scene.

She seems to always look angry in shop inv displays as well, thats why I assumed it was a default face. Its weird to see her face express an emotion seperate from what shes saying. I just want HC to be happy š¢...... or at least emotionally neutral.

Sorry, What I should have said was that there are a ton of scenes with HC speaking in which she is displayed with a furrowed brow. She seems to look angry in multiple scenes where shes not.

the switching expressions in the wardrobe thing is for people who like to post screenshots of their characters (which is my fav) but yeah you cant set the default expression. I will try and make this a bit more intuitive
I've noticed you can change HC's facial expressions in the wardrobe, but her default face seems to be angry eyes. Will we eventually be able to set her default face? is it a bug? I just want HC to be happy lol.

there are a few other mini scenes that progress a day, but pretty much no, thats it.

Quick bug report -- cycling through your selection of clothes doesn't show them in the correct order, and once you have enough clothes some of the items can't be selected at all

the save files are stored in (your username)/AppData/Roaming/Godot/app_userdata/HARDCODED, and every version of the game looks for them there. Just start up the new version of the game and your saves should be available. Lemme know if theyre missing or something cause if so, something is up.
uhh i downloaded a standalone version as just an exe is there any way to pull the saves from that and put em in the new version (ty good to know)

Omg welcome to the patreon! Thank you so much for the support!!!!! Your save files will totally work with the new version of the game, you don't even have to do anything facny :D If you have the itch.io client, it even updates the game automatically. There will be also, theres currently no time change thing, but we're working on some more convenient day-advancing stuff rn, so soon!
looks good! this is my first "new update" so I'm just wondering if theres a way to transfer saves between versions or if I gotta just restart the whole thing (also I'm wondering what the status of a manual time change ability is even if it's just a button that says next day if every scene is completed and theres still some things to do that require happening on certain specific days)
