Autumn LeBlanc- Main Girl Showcase!
🕑 Added 2024-12-22 11:12:40 +0000 UTCHey Loopers! I know I said I was going to do a side girl this update, but I might be out of commission next week and wanted to get Autumn out of the way now. I'll probably knock out a couple more side girls before I do Harus fun facts. Without further ado, here's some stuff about our Stargirl, our Manic Maniac, our ball of chaos, Autumn LeBlanc!
-Autumn was a sheltered child who grew up being boarded out from the outside world by her grandparents. To them, this was for her own protection; however, they gave her access to the Internet, which also, in turn, led to her playing a bunch of online games. She spent a lot of time on flash game sites and found her way into single-player and multi-player games. Autumn especially grew to love story driven games the most, and found her way into vns- she might have even played some novels that you guys know all too well! ;)
- Autumn is very afraid of crabs - not the slang for pubic lice, but ACTUAL crabs. She explains that they're the spiders of the sea, but - she's not afraid of spiders? It might be worth thinking there's more to it, but it also might just be typical Autumn logic.
- While she was growing up, she would spend an abnormal amount of time in the pool to get energy out, leading to her becoming UNREALISTICALLY good at swimming. Since she's finally headed to a college, she plans on trying out for the swim team. It may be a little late for her to join, but who knows?
I have to duck around spoilers when discussing Autumns origins, but originally, Autumn looked and acted very differently. Funny enough, she was supposed to be our emo character, and she was named Autumn to play into the name gimmick. I didn't like her original model, though, so we changed things up, and I started developing the story more. Before she became a main girl, she was supposed to be kind of like MCs sidekick, like a "partner in crime turned to love" kind of thing. I abandoned that as the story changed.
For those who don't know, Autumn is my favorite character to write. Funny enough, initially, Winter was my favorite (due to reasons I'll discuss when her showcase rolls around), and this was the case up until about when I wrote her text conversation. I channeled the energy of my friend group for the texts and ended up having the most fun I've ever had writing. In release 2, you'll see she fully embraces the Chaotic, goofy side of her from the texts. I love writing her. I love her character. She's so much fun. I really hope you guys enjoy her as much as I do.
I know some people also say "Oh the dev shouldn't have a favorite," but I want to focus on how the story flows instead of giving content to my favorite characters. Summer is still going to be around more often than any other character because of her sharing a house with MC. I don't plan on giving anyone more content than anyone else; I want everyone to have their fans and all the fans to be satisfied.
I don't have much to say at the end, here. Who do you guys want to see next? I have to catch up on the side girls. Is there anyone in specific you guys want to see? Let me know!
