I will never like the fact that the aliens were given an origin story, esp. such a banal one. They were so much better as a distant experiment or bio-weapon of some forgotten alien civilization that spun out of control. But I do love David villain. So as far as spoiling one of my favorite monsters up, it's not so bad. I'm glad you liked it. P.S, -Showering the ancient species with their own mutagen was f* righteous. Also, I absolutely loved the spaceship Mother-AI aesthetic they had going on in main ship. Clean, clear and light-filled.

Glad to see this one get some love from you Jimmy. A lot of fans really don't like Prometheus or this one, but IMO David alone makes these two movies spectacular
