The Kid Detective is an outsider pick but would highly recommend to anyone who’s got a spare vote, very dark comedy takedown of noir films and (obviously) kid detective media.

For those who haven't seen it, Legends of the Fall is surprisingly excellent. It has some great early Brad Pitt, and one of my favorite Anthony Hopkins performances. Matchstick Men and Jarhead also great movies, and somewhat forgotten about. Big Fish gets an honorable mention. *I* love Walk the Line, but I vote for it knowing it may not be to Jimmy's taste and could in fact be doing him an Unkindness, lol. But hey, you put it on the poll man! If it wins it isn't my fault!
