Really just the dumbest take I've ever seen. The extra content is just as good and drastically improves the episodes. No it doesn't "automatically mean good", no fucking shit, but in this case it is nearly all great. Some of the best bits in the series are extended cuts.

Yea, network demands. The script already goes through several cuts by the actual writers before they start shooting. Everything they shoot is what they felt was worthy of filming. Then the editors come in and ruin it to format it for 21-22 minutes. It has literally nothing to do with the content itself and the content is more of the same great stuff. What a terrible take.

Extended episodes are so much better, literally just more of a good thing. It's a massive shame more people don't do them and complaining about more Office content is actually insane. They're also much more true to the writers vision.
