I think you’re the only reactor I’ve watched who genuinely completely got what Dune is going for and what it’s trying to say. There are a worrying number of people who seem to not see the issue with what Paul is doing.

To be honest I had a feeling you would like this movie more than the first. I saw this one in theaters and man the major highlights for me have to be Feyd Rautha, Lady Jessica,and Stilgar. Great performances. On your topic of dickhead Chalomet,may I reccomend the movie Don't Look Up on Netflix. He plays a brash douchy teenager but ends up being a great highlight of the movie for me
