I think he was referring to itadori himself questioning the friendship since it happened so suddenly and in a really odd way lol Jimmy seemed to call him out on his denial like “come on man, you know you two are friends now, stop it”.

Release order: Season 1 > Movie 0 > Season 2 Chronological order: Season 2 ep 1-5 > Movie 0 > Season 1 > Season 2 ep 6-23 I'm on the side of release order, no need to complicate it. I think you can follow that things are a flashback.

The jujutsu Kaizen 0 movie is canon and was released after season 1 ended. But the story takes place after season 2 episode 5. If you plan on watching the movie after season 1 you should just watch 3 episodes next week so you can watch the movie after that. Or just watch the movie after season 2 episode 5. Up to you, but I'd recommend watching the movie after season 2 episode 5
