Had to watch this again! This is one of my favorites. I absolutely love this performance!!!

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

"He died doing what he loved." Man, I swear, this movie gets better every time I watch it. At this point, I think it might be the best (mental illness-based) character study I've seen in a film since Taxi Driver.

I can only view all of your videos in 360p....infuriating

Robert Kruger

Hoping for a new link and that this is restored.

Matt Flynn

Dead ringer for Patrick Bateman. Watching this made me rewatch American Psycho.

I love this movie. Jake Gyllenhaal is so fucking scary. I'm getting Joker vibes - but he also reminds me of Patrick Bateman (American Psycho).

Drew

It was fine for me, do you use headphones?

Is anyone else having trouble hearing their audio when they talk during the movie? I can barely understand what they say the entire reaction until the end discussion. Any solutions to this?

Have you seen Prisoners? One of my top 10 movies of the last decade. Directed by my favorite director Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049, Arrival, Sicario, Enemy, Dune (2020); cinematography by the best guy in the business Roger Deakins (Blade Runner 2049, Sicario, Skyfall, The shawshank redemption, 1917) and one of the best performances from Jake Gyllenhaal, Viola Davis, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo and Paul Dano (the riddler from the new Batman movie). And probably THE best performance by Hugh Jackman. Goddamn masterpiece. Should definitely be on your list! Everything from Denis Villeneuve should be on the list. Blade Runner is even higher on my top 10 of the past decade, but I go with Prisoners for now. Especially since you enjoyed Gyllenhaal so much.

Ninaofthe90s

this is one of the best performances I've seen this last decade.

Not only was Jake Gyllenhaal's performance incredible but he legit lost 30 pounds for this movie. Go look at him in Southpaw where he's absolutely jacked and compare him to this. The man is one of the best actors working today in my opinion, he's super underrated. I HIGHLY recommend Prisoners, Enemy, Jarhead, and End of Watch. All movies he absolutely kills in.
