Just finished the video Gaffer, it was great! When you brought up Spider Man I instantly thought "that's what he meant". Yeah, you're right- Dragon Ball Evolution really is a worse Sam Raimi Spider-Man. Also, I'm kinda embarrassed that I never thought of Avatar The Last Airbender once while watching Evolution despite the now clear similarities you pointed out, great observation! Looking forward to you exploring revival era Dragon Ball. I'm curious to see how far in you plan to go considering we're still in it.
