[DOWNLOAD] 3D Ear Bonnet
🕑 Added 2024-02-16 15:09:00 +0000 UTCI'm really happy with how these came out! The textures do stretch but it looks much better in game than I was fearing. Works with all my browband shapes to fit snugly under the bridle.
In this post:
- 3D Ear Bonnet v1
- 3D Ear Bonnet v2 (square)
- 3D Ear Bonnet v3 (scalloped)
All include hat slot & forelock slot options -- works with my override and EA head shapes. I made a VRIHS compatible version as well (thanks to Ghoul Studios for testing). I do not plan to make any other head override compatibility; creators are welcome to fit it to their preferred overrides.
I'm also including a recolor template since it can be a bit hard to figure out. The main texture is in the forelock slot and there is a spot on the horse to disguise areas that may clip.
Usual stuff: meshes are relatively high poly, will deform with some morphs, follow TOU, feel free to add swatches/make recolors as long as result is kept free (no early access) and credit is given. Credit to RS for the original asset.

Yup! Also if you use the hat version, I cloned the accessory that hides the forelock, so either type will hide (re: take the place of) the forelock

It looks amazing like always! If it takes a forelock slot, does it mean that ear bonnets will 'replace' it when you put them on?
