π Behind the Beads: Our Wild Gay New Orleans Weekend! ππΊ
🕑 Added 2025-02-27 00:39:04 +0000 UTCWe just closed out an epic weekend in the Big Easy, and letβs just sayβ¦ New Orleans never disappoints! π With Mardi Gras just around the corner, we hit the streets (and the bars) for some behind-the-scenes fun while filming our Gay Nightlife Guide to NOLAβand trust us, we have some extra moments just for you, our VIPs. π₯΅
First up? Krewe BohΓ¨me & Krewe du Vieuxβthe first parades after Twelfth Night that officially kick off Carnival season! These French Quarter parades are a total spectacle of drag queens, dazzling costumes, and just enough debauchery to set the tone for Mardi Gras. And what did we get handed? No beads, no trinketsβjust a Krewe de Kink pin. π Seems about right! (Swipe to see the evidence!)
But you know we didnβt stop there. We revisited some of our all-time faves, including Oz, where Amateur Strip-Off Night served up some seriously bold contenders. And then there was Corner Pocket, where the go-go boys were turning all the tricks (on the bar, of course π).
And our favorite new discovery? Rawhide. Supposedly, itβs party in the front, business in the backβbut honey, we saw everything right at the bar. The sexy bartender in a jock strap getting involved? Yeah, it was that kind of night. π₯΅π₯
Finally, after all the parades, parties, and more than a few go cups (cheers to the Open Container District! πΉ), we wrapped it all up with Trai getting cleaned up in the showerβbecause someone had to rinse off all that Big Easy fun. π¦π
