As Optimus Prime bravely charged towards him, a sinister grin crept across Lord Fallen's face.
His figure distorted momentarily, and in the blink of an eye, he reappeared right in front of Optimus Prime.
He reached out and delivered a powerful slap that struck Optimus Prime, sending him soaring through the air and crashing to the ground several meters away.
"My patience is running thin. Hand over the Leadership Module!" Lord Fallen looked at Optimus Prime coldly, his threat implicit as he glanced at the Autobots surrounding him.
Optimus Prime quickly got back on his feet. Lord Fallen's power was truly astonishing. He had felt such overwhelming force only in his teacher, Sentinel Prime.
However, it was not insurmountable.
At least, Lord Fallen's previous attack hadn't caused much harm, and with the Leadership Module, he had quickly recovered.
"If you want the Leadership Module, you'll have to take it from my lifeless body!" Optimus Prime tightened his grip on his heavy sword, his face showing no fear.
His stubbornness infuriated Lord Fallen. His fangs bared, he snorted, "Then I'll take it myself!"
Ironhide raised a grenade launcher and fired madly at Lord Fallen.
The other Autobots followed suit, raising their weapons and firing at Lord Fallen.
Lord Fallen sneered in disdain. These Autobots' attacks were even weaker than the one Frenzy had launched earlier; they couldn't harm him at all.
However, the sheer number of them was getting on his nerves.
Lord Fallen raised his right hand and suddenly lifted it high into the sky. A terrifying electromagnetic force erupted, instantly pulling all the Autobots around him together. They collided and cried out in pain about a dozen meters above his head before falling to the ground.
At this moment, Lord Fallen was surrounded by a crackling electric aura. He intended to use his incredible speed once more to charge at Optimus Prime and finish him off.
Optimus Prime was the only Autobot who hadn't been controlled by Lord Fallen's electromagnetic force. In that moment when the terrifying electromagnetic force had enveloped him, the Leadership Module within him had resonated and counteracted the force.
Seeing Lord Fallen charging at him once again, Optimus Prime knew he was at a disadvantage in terms of speed and strength.
He tightened his grip on his heavy sword, his eyes locked onto Lord Fallen.
Interestingly, just as Optimus Prime focused his attention, he quickly realized that Lord Fallen, who had appeared in front of him at lightning speed earlier, was now moving slower.
"Huh?!"
Before he could feel relief, Lord Fallen had already reached him again. With a sudden, powerful roundhouse kick, he sent Optimus Prime flying high into the air. Then, his right hand transformed into a large-caliber Laser Cannon and fired a shot at Optimus Prime.
"Boom!"
The energy blast hit Optimus Prime, sending him flying even further before crashing to the ground once more.
But this time, he quickly got up.
He clenched his heavy sword, calmly watching Lord Fallen. A brilliant blue arc continually danced over Optimus Prime's body. The wounds Lord Fallen had inflicted on him were visibly healing at an astonishing rate.
"Leadership Module!"
Lord Fallen seethed with hatred. He knew more about the sacred artifact than Optimus Prime did.
In the legends of Cybertron Planet, the Leadership Module was said to be one of the artifacts left behind by one of the Thirteen Primes, the ancient progenitors. The ruling Primus royal family even claimed that the Leadership Module was the transformed Spark of the fallen Prime known as Thirteen.
Lord Fallen knew better than to believe this theory. He believed that the ancient progenitor, the great creator, had left gifts for all his children, including himself, and that his brother, the Prime known as Thirteen, had selfishly taken everything.
The Leadership Module possessed the power to stimulate evolution. Lord Fallen had seen through everything that had happened to Optimus Prime. Therefore, he was even more fearful, dreading that Optimus Prime might be the descendant of the ancient progenitor mentioned in Titan Master's prophecy, the one who would kill him.
"I must end this battle quickly!"
With that thought in mind, Lord Fallen no longer hesitated.
Intense electric arcs crackled around him, and both his speed and strength increased significantly from before.
Optimus Prime immediately noticed Lord Fallen's change. He was faster and more powerful than before. Under Lord Fallen's relentless assault, Optimus Prime had almost no opportunity to counterattack. His body was rapidly becoming covered in deep fractures, and shattered pieces flew everywhere.
Optimus Prime should be thankful that Lord Fallen, without his Requiem Blaster, couldn't inflict lethal damage with a single blow.
In his current state, with the Leadership Module, it was as if the artifact itself had developed self-awareness. It seemed to sense that Optimus Prime was in trouble and was releasing more energy to rapidly repair and enhance his body.
Amidst the constant injuries and blows, Optimus Prime realized that he was gradually catching up to Lord Fallen's speed.
His mechanical body was becoming tougher and more powerful. When Lord Fallen charged at him again, attempting to strike him down, Optimus Prime fought back.
"Clang!"
With a powerful swing of his heavy sword, Optimus Prime left a long gash on Lord Fallen's mechanical body.
"What?!"
Lord Fallen was astonished. After his Bone Staff had been severed by Frenzy earlier, he was at a disadvantage in close combat.
Instinctively, he raised his right hand and fired his Laser Cannon at Optimus Prime's chest, knocking him back.
At that moment, Commander Ironhide had partially recovered from the previous attacks.
He struggled to his feet, looking at Lord Fallen, who seemed to have the upper hand. His eyes flickered, and he suddenly shouted, "Autobots, retreat!"
He pulled out a round, rolling object from his waist and charged at Lord Fallen, embracing him tightly.
The explosion from the Electromagnetic Bombs had an impact on Lord Fallen, making him snort in irritation.
Even Primus would get hurt when facing such an attack specifically designed for them.
In his momentary lapse, Lord Fallen, in his anger, tore off one of Ironhide's arms.
But the electromagnetic pulse from the explosion had caused some issues with his electronic components.
"A golden opportunity!"
Although Optimus Prime had also been injured by Ironhide's close-range detonation of the Electromagnetic Bombs, he quickly recovered thanks to the Leadership Module.
He noticed Lord Fallen's change and didn't miss the golden opportunity Ironhide had created for him.
Gripping his heavy sword tightly, Optimus Prime swung it with all his might, creating a long gash across Lord Fallen's chest.
"For all the Autobots who perished because of you!"
Optimus Prime roared and then, to Lord Fallen's incredulous gaze, swung his heavy sword again, plunging it into Lord Fallen's Spark in his chest.
Lord Fallen, fallen!
