The tape recorder didn't transform, instead, he gently pressed his temple, and his eyes immediately projected a wall of light.
As Optimus Prime and the others watched, a male human host appeared on the light wall, delivering news with a solemn expression.
"...Breaking news, just in, reports from the Egyptian Air Defense Joint Task Force indicate an unidentified missile attack on Cairo... Military personnel have already been dispatched to investigate, and the Cairo Air Defense units are on high alert. Please stay indoors..."
The image flickered, and another video began playing.
In the midst of the night, a helicopter hovered in the sky, recorded by a tourist who had been visiting Egypt.
Soon, sounds of explosions and rumbling filled the air, and the helicopter in the sky exploded.
The person recording the video exclaimed, "I'm at the Giza Plateau, and it seems like a war is happening here." These were the last words the person said before uploading the video online.
Following that, the tape recorder projected analyses and information from various social media platforms.
"...Missiles have attacked the Giza Plateau, and I'm concerned if the pyramids are being hit!"
"...There are continuous sounds of explosions coming from the Giza Plateau. Is the military engaging with some force?"
"The political situation is unstable. Warning: Do not travel to Egypt in the coming days!"
While no humans had come close to the unnamed pyramid and captured photos or videos for the Autobots' reference, Optimus Prime and his team knew the significance of the Giza Plateau and the unnamed pyramid.
The earlier intelligence that Sun Cheng had provided about the Decepticons included their presence in Egypt, more precisely, in the Giza Plateau near Cairo.
"Leader, the battle location is where Frenzy discovered the Decepticons..."
Ironhide, who had already recovered, was in high spirits.
The Leadership Module had proven not only to be capable of healing but also resurrecting fallen Autobots.
This discovery filled him with joy, especially considering that the Autobots who had been left behind to delay Lord Fallen in the Jordan Petra Mountains had not been heard from since. It was highly likely that they had all perished there.
Now, Optimus Prime had made the decision to use the Leadership Module to resurrect Ironhide's fallen comrades and loved ones, regardless of parliament regulations.
Could there be anything more exciting?
None!
"There's likely a battle happening in Cairo with an unknown force!"
Optimus Prime, although sometimes appearing conservative, was a responsible leader. "Frenzy warned us earlier that Lord Fallen's weapon, used to destroy the sun, might be hidden in one of the pyramids in the Giza Plateau... We need to get there quickly to prevent Lord Fallen from taking a desperate move and destroying the sun..."
Ironhide and the others had already shared their experiences, including everything that had happened after Ironhide's assassination attempt, with Optimus Prime.
Therefore, Optimus Prime was well aware of the current situation. His Autobot comrades might have survived the recent bombing in Jordan Petra Mountains, but the fate of Sam and Michaela, the two human teenagers, remained uncertain.
Too many sacrifices had already been made in the pursuit of resurrection and stopping Lord Fallen's conspiracy.
Now, there should be no more sacrifices.
With this in mind, Optimus Prime clenched his fists.
The Leadership Module seemed to activate itself once more. After being absorbed into his chest, it continued to supply a constant surge of energy into Optimus Prime's body, continuously transforming his Spark and mechanical body.
With every passing moment, he could feel himself growing stronger.
"...Rebirth does not mean a blessing, but a responsibility... A malevolent entity that once led Lord Fallen astray will awaken soon, bringing endless calamity..."
Suddenly, words spoken by six giants he had seen while still in a daze, right before he fully awakened, flashed in his mind. Those six giants were likely the cybertronian Primes who had retrieved the Leadership Module from Lord Fallen's grasp and safeguarded it.
Although they had passed away, it seemed they were still observing Earth and the Leadership Module in some way.
"What kind of malevolent entity could lead a Prime astray..."
Despite growing stronger with the help of the Leadership Module, Optimus Prime's heart felt heavier.
The legendary Primes of Cybertron Planet had paid a heavy price but had only managed to temporarily put the malevolent entity to rest.
Each time he thought about facing such an entity in the future, Optimus Prime's mood couldn't help but darken.
"I hope we have enough time!"
Suppressing his inner turmoil, Optimus Prime noticed that all the Autobots were now looking at him, clearly awaiting his next orders.
"Autobots, prepare to depart... Our destination is Cairo, and our adversary is likely a powerful Prime... But we must win this battle; otherwise, we stand to lose more..."
In response, Ironhide and the others replied with unwavering determination, "Autobots, fear nothing!"
"Very well, let's go!"
Optimus Prime took the lead and transformed his mechanical body into a heavy truck. Then, Ironhide, Arcee, and the others followed suit, one by one.
Once again, an odd but formidable convoy took shape, and the desert sands outside Aswan yielded to them as they embarked on the desert road leading to Cairo.
Little did they know that as they had just left Aswan, a Global Hawk Drone had stopped over the Solia Autobots base, deliberately dropping a metal storage disk containing a comprehensive record of recent events near the unnamed pyramid area.
Soon, some non-combat-capable Autobots who had been staying behind at the Autobots base, after confirming its safety, ventured out carefully.
They quickly found the metal storage disk and, after thorough checks, brought it into the base.
Due to the delay in time, the Autobots who had stayed behind discovered the secret of the metal storage disk and read the information contained within. They realized the urgency of transmitting this crucial information to the frontline.
Unbeknownst to Optimus Prime and his team, they had already encountered Lord Fallen as they headed south.
