"In the midst of blooming flowers, each has its own branch."
Now, let's continue with the story. After learning that Decepticons were attacking, Sam hastily retrieved what seemed to be the "Leadership Module" from the cave where six Primes were buried. He then grabbed his girlfriend, Michaela, and rushed outside.
Claudia, upon detecting the Decepticon attack, followed Ironhide's prompt orders and directed Bumblebee and Ratchet, along with herself as Autobots, to protect Sam, Michaela, and the Leadership Module during their retreat.
In this critical moment, nobody questioned Ironhide's command. Bumblebee quickly transformed into a sports car, carrying Sam and Michaela. With Claudia and Ratchet protecting them, they prepared to retreat to the Autobots' base within the Solia region to revive their leader, Optimus Prime.
There were no paved roads near the Nameless Temple, and after entering the Petra Mountains earlier, Ironhide's group had chosen to traverse the mountains on foot for their search. Now, with their hasty retreat, it was a stroke of luck that Bumblebee and the others were Autobots. Otherwise, racing at speeds over 80 miles per hour on the rugged mountain roads would have led to a catastrophe, even for off-road vehicles.
However, Sam and Michaela were not Autobots. As soon as the convoy hit the road, the two high school students' faces turned pale.
"Bang!"
Despite being fastened with seatbelts, Sam's head still hit the car frame next to the driver's seat when Bumblebee made a sudden turn.
"Bumblebee..." He fought to suppress his roiling stomach. "Could you drive a bit more steadily?"
Michaela, sitting beside him, wasn't any better off. Judging from her rising and falling chest and her throat's constant movement, she seemed on the verge of vomiting.
"Sam... Michaela, please endure it a bit longer," Bumblebee explained. "It's not safe here, and we need to get away quickly!"
Sam and Michaela were well aware of this fact, but the intense jostling on the mountain roads had exceeded the limits of what humans could endure.
The Nameless Temple was situated deep within the Petra Mountains. Although these low rocky mountains couldn't be considered grand, to exit the mountainous area, even if they took a straight path, they would need to travel at least 30 to 40 kilometers.
Just as Sam and Michaela struggled to hold back their nausea, their faces shifting from pale to green, an explosion suddenly rang out. Bumblebee, Claudia, and Ratchet, all three Autobots, simultaneously transformed and began fiercely firing at a giant Decepticon who had descended from the sky, blocking their retreat.
"...Descendants of the First Prime... Why are you attacking me..." The colossal Decepticon who had halted Bumblebee's group's withdrawal was none other than Lord Fallen.
A mocking smile crossed Lord Fallen's face as he looked down at the three Autobots below. His finger lightly tapped against his bone staff, showing a sense of contentment.
He sensed the concealed special energy emanating from the Leadership Module. After all, he had held this Sacred Artifact for some time when he had deceived it away from several of his brothers. Thus, he had a rather good understanding of it.
The only Autobot Leader who could pose a threat to him had been dealt with by Starscream and the others not long ago. For this reason, Lord Fallen wasn't in a hurry to deal with Bumblebee's group.
"Surrender the Leadership Module to me..." Lord Fallen acted as though he hadn't noticed the Autobots' wary grip on their weapons. "I will pardon your crimes and allow you to join the Decepticons!"
Lord Fallen detected a communication signal sent out by Claudia, and he turned to look at her. In an instant, he moved towards her, and with a swift motion, he slapped her.
"Bang!"
Claudia didn't have time to react and was sent flying, crashing heavily more than twenty meters away.
"Claudia!"
Bumblebee raised his laser cannon and fired three consecutive energy shots at Lord Fallen. "You make me feel a familiar sensation..."
Lord Fallen swayed slightly and easily evaded the energy shots fired at him. He looked at Bumblebee with interest, rubbing his chin as if deep in thought.
Soon, Lord Fallen seemed to realize something and, while nonchalantly catching the bullets Ratchet had shot at him, he said in a suddenly enlightened tone, "I see now. You carry the shadow of..."
Bumblebee warily kept his eye on him. Just then, the sound of rotating wings echoed from the sky.
Meanwhile, a silver-white sports car appeared in Bumblebee's field of vision among the nearby forests.
"Drift... Sideswipe..."
Several Autobots rejoiced. Drift had already locked onto Lord Fallen, and his rocket launchers and missiles were all aimed at him.
"Troublesome reptile..."
Lord Fallen's smile vanished. As one of the Thirteen Primes of Cybertron Planet, the oldest and most noble existence, even in his fallen state, he couldn't accept any disrespect from others.
The ground under his feet immediately cracked, and his figure seemed to move like a phantom as he appeared in the sky.
He swung his bone staff at Drift with force.
"Bang..."
Drift's years of combat experience led him to instinctively dodge, and the bone staff, which should have struck his main body, instead hit one of the tail rotor blades of his helicopter form.
His armed helicopter immediately lost balance and plummeted from the sky.
In the crucial moment, Drift quickly transformed into his combat form. With an extra leg, he stumbled and landed heavily on the ground, narrowly avoiding hitting Sideswipe, who had just arrived.
Sideswipe coldly snorted and swiftly changed into his battle form, holding a triangular-bladed sword. He charged towards the menacing Lord Fallen.
A fierce battle ensued...
