Inside the nameless pyramid, Sun Cheng resembled a spider, climbing on the top of the superweapon.
Countless metal joints extended from his mechanical body, either inserting into or adhering to the superweapon.
As Sun Cheng began to extract information from it, a massive amount of data began to transfer from the superweapon to his mind.
This data included not only the overall structure, abilities, and operation of the superweapon named Stellar Extraction Tower but also many secrets that were gradually revealed to him.
"Requiem Blaster... Solus Prime... I see..."
Perhaps due to his excessive self-confidence, Lord Fallen had not left any protective measures on the superweapon he had created.
Because of this, Sun Cheng was able to easily infiltrate the Stellar Extraction Tower and gain a wealth of useful information.
The electric arcs surrounding him and the Stellar Extraction Tower grew stronger and lasted for nearly two hours before Sun Cheng's mechanical body suddenly trembled.
At the same time, the metal joints that had extended from his mechanical body, inserted into, or adhered to the Stellar Extraction Tower, retracted back into his mechanical body.
Looking once again at the superweapon before him, he now had a mix of dread and fanaticism in his eyes.
Before him, the superweapon hidden in the pyramid had no more secrets for Sun Cheng. He knew everything about it, from its materials and structure to its abilities and operation.
But it was precisely because he knew that Sun Cheng began to worry.
He now knew that this superweapon, the Stellar Extraction Tower, could not be replicated.
Yes, the Stellar Extraction Tower was completely irreplicable.
The reason this superweapon, the Stellar Extraction Tower, had the power to destroy stars and create the All Spark was due to a relic hidden in the core of the Stellar Extraction Tower—a weapon called the Requiem Blaster.
The Requiem Blaster was one of the Thirteen Primes and had been custom-made for Megatronus Prime, who had not yet fallen, at the request of Solus Prime, another of the Thirteen Primes.
Solus Prime was the only female among the Thirteen Primes and could be considered the ancestor of all female Cybertronians. Sun Cheng had recently found scattered information about her in Skyfire's core.
It was said that she had a close relationship with Megatronus Prime, that she was the best blacksmith among the Thirteen Primes, that she had forged an incredible hammer bearing her name, and that she had created formidable weapons for several Primus.
Time had buried many things, and much about Solus Prime had become a secret. Sun Cheng would never know the full story, but while extracting information from the Stellar Extraction Tower just now, he had discovered some secrets.
For example, at the core of the Stellar Extraction Tower was a relic called the Requiem Blaster.
In Skyfire's memory, the Requiem Blaster had always been Megatronus Prime's weapon.
It was an incredibly powerful relic that could extract energy from stars, granting unmatched combat power to its wielder and its master.
Lord Fallen had created the Stellar Extraction Tower based on the abilities of the Requiem Blaster. The Stellar Extraction Tower enhanced the Requiem Blaster's capabilities, allowing it to not only absorb and borrow energy from stars but also directly pulverize stars, completely extract their energy, and transform it into the All Spark.
As a result, even if Sun Cheng were to steal the method to create the Stellar Extraction Tower, it would be of no use.
Because the Stellar Extraction Tower was merely an amplifier. Unless he could steal the Requiem Blaster, the core of the tower, it would be useless.
However, whether or not to steal the Requiem Blaster posed a difficult dilemma for Sun Cheng.
Requiem Blaster is Lord Fallen's weapon, and if he manages to steal it, the taunt effect will surely be maximized.
Next, Sun Cheng has to consider the possibility of Lord Fallen relentlessly pursuing him.
Moreover, Requiem Blaster is not as perfect as he imagined.
After all, the Stellar Extraction Tower is not a mechanical lifeform, and it contains a lot of information. Because of that, Sun Cheng has seen many things.
As Lord Fallen's weapon, why did he use Requiem Blaster as the Core of the Stellar Extraction Tower rather than carry this powerful weapon with him?
A crucial reason for this is that Solus Prime, upon sensing the growing evil within Megatronus Prime, had left some control mechanisms within Requiem Blaster.
And these control mechanisms were activated by other Primus beings after Megatronus Prime fell and became Lord Fallen.
Once activated by Solus Prime's control mechanisms, Requiem Blaster had become an uncontrollable weapon.
It could no longer replenish its energy by extracting energy from stars as it did in the past.
Every time Lord Fallen used it, he had to consume a terrifying amount of energy.
This is why Lord Fallen stored it within the Stellar Extraction Tower as its Core and was so determined to obtain the Leadership Module.
The Leadership Module not only served as a massive energy source to replenish the energy expended when using Requiem Blaster but was also almost legendary in the Cybertronian civilization.
Sun Cheng speculated that Lord Fallen might possess some information he didn't know about.
For example, the Leadership Module might have the ability to erase the control mechanisms left by Solus Prime within Requiem Blaster.
"So... should I steal Requiem Blaster or not..."
As he slowly climbed down from the Stellar Extraction Tower to a more open area below, two different thoughts clashed violently in Sun Cheng's mind.
He was captivated by the wonder of Requiem Blaster but also feared Lord Fallen's power and the control mechanisms of Solus Prime, making it difficult for him to decide whether to take this relic.
However, leaving empty-handed was clearly not in line with Sun Cheng's usual style.
These two radically different thoughts continued to collide fiercely in his mind.
The blue light in Sun Cheng's eyes flickered as a result of this intense mental clash.
For a quasi-commander-level Decepticon like Sun Cheng, a tower several hundred meters tall was almost like walking on flat ground.
In just a short ten seconds, Sun Cheng had already reached the very bottom of the Stellar Extraction Tower, in front of a structure resembling a natural ventilation and cooling tower in a power plant.
Staring at this structure, which concealed the Requiem Blaster, the Core device of the Stellar Extraction Tower, Sun Cheng closed his eyes for a moment. Simultaneously, a coin resembling a Xia Yuan coin from the Real World appeared in his palm.
He tossed it high into the air, and then he paid it no more attention.
Because in the moment when the coin was tossed, Sun Cheng had already made up his mind.
Requiem Blaster, he was going to take it.
