"Sam... Sam... Sam, wake up quickly..."
In a daze, Sam seemed to hear someone calling his name. His consciousness was still not fully awake, and he struggled for a while before managing to open his eyes.
He saw a familiar young girl in front of him. She had long, coffee-colored hair and a seductive face that didn't match her age.
But at this moment, the girl's face was filled with panic and anxiety.
She seemed to be shaking Sam's body vigorously, occasionally patting his cheeks with her palm.
With her efforts, Sam's consciousness gradually returned.
"Michaela... Yes, I was on a date with Michaela in the car... Suddenly, we were attacked. A helicopter descended from the sky and used a grappling hook to lift the car into the air... We were taken to an abandoned factory in the outskirts and then dropped from the sky... And then, I lost consciousness..."
As Sam's consciousness slowly returned, he finally realized the danger he was in.
He tried to stand up abruptly, only to find that he and Michaela were still hanging upside down in the car.
Just as he was about to undo the seatbelt and escape, a screeching sound of a chainsaw filled the air.
And in the terrified gaze of the two, a huge chainsaw effortlessly cut the car in half.
A terrifying mechanical giant, whose face seemed somewhat familiar to Sam, appeared in their sight.
"You are... Blackout?"
After all, Sam had witnessed the fierce battle in Sector Seven and Las Vegas, and he had nightmares about it many times in the past year.
It was not surprising that he had nightmares after such a stimulating experience, considering that he and Michaela had narrowly escaped death multiple times.
As a result, Sam remembered the face of every Decepticon he had encountered.
The 'Blackout' standing before him now was one of them!
"Blackout..."
The Decepticon smirked and grabbed Sam, throwing him several meters away.
He wasn't Blackout, but rather Surfboard, an advanced replica warrior from the Decepticon Aerial Assault Force.
Yes, this formidable Decepticon warrior, who had considerable combat power, was just one of the advanced replica warriors created by Starscream.
His prototype had been created during the era of the Council of Primes and was a member of the Cybertron Defense Force's Aerial Assault Force. He had been a professional soldier before the civil war broke out and had undergone Shockwave's modifications to become an even more ferocious Decepticon warrior.
However, the brutal civil war resulted in the deaths of many outstanding warriors from both the Decepticons and Autobots, and Surfboard was one of them.
After his death, as part of the early awakening program formulated by the Skytiger Legion to maintain air superiority in their battles against the Autobots, Surfboard was included.
But unlike the Autobots' awakening, the brutal Skytiger Legion needed an army.
So, under the cooperation of Shockwave and Starscream, the former terrifying Decepticon warrior became a type of advanced cannon fodder that could be mass-produced in the hands of the Skytiger Legion, known as replica warriors.
Approaching the battered Sam once again, he bent down and grabbed him, saying calmly amidst Michaela's cries of fear, "I heard you're a friend of the Autobots? Ah, I really want to see their expressions when they hear the news of your death."
"Don't worry, we still have plenty of time... I will slowly torture you and make you die in agony!"
"But before that, we have something else to take care of!"
With that, he turned to look not far away at a device placed on a dusty, dilapidated table. It seemed to be some kind of abandoned medical equipment. He said softly, "Scalpel, it's your turn next!"
The voice had just fallen, and Sam and Michaela saw the medical equipment on the table quickly transform into a strange Decepticon that looked like a metal spider with two bulb-like eyes.
The Decepticon, known as the "Scalpel," easily jumped several meters from the table and landed on Sam's chest.
In his panicked gaze, the Decepticon, with a sinister and sharp voice, maliciously reminded Sam, "I will scan you, starting with your head."
"Let me introduce myself, I am the Scalpel, and my mission is to find information!"
"You have come into contact with the fragments and must have received the information inside!"
It first scanned Sam's eyes and face briefly, then examined his nostrils for a moment.
Then, cruelly tearing open his mouth, it took out a strange metal bug and tried to force it into Sam's mouth.
"Ugh..."
Sam wanted to struggle but didn't dare to resist. The Decepticon, who resembled a cruel presence from his memory, stared at him with emotionless, icy eyes, as if he were already dead.
In this situation, Sam didn't dare to move.
He looked fearfully at the strange Decepticon calling itself the "Scalpel" and forcibly stuffed the peculiar metal bug into his own mouth.
Then, like a snake, the metallic bug swiftly extended its tentacles from his nasal cavity and reached into his brain.
A wave of nausea and retching immediately struck, and Sam's chest heaved violently. "I'm going to die!"
As the two tentacles of the strange bug extended into his nasal cavity towards his brain, he had a terrible feeling that he was about to die.
Fortunately, the feeling came and went quickly.
The bug had been inside Sam's mouth for less than ten seconds when it jumped out with a dry heave.
The spider-like Decepticon calling itself the "Scalpel" caught the bug, and as the bug's tentacles touched the Scalpel's mechanical body, a burst of dazzling sparks erupted.
"Let me see what information you obtained from the fragment!"
Scalpel said triumphantly, and Sam suddenly realized.
It wasn't until now that he finally understood how he had fallen into this predicament.
"A fragment... information... so that's it..."
Half a month ago, he accidentally found a piece of the All Spark, which shattered and flew out when he stuffed it into Megatron's chest during the battle in Las Vegas.
Somehow, that fragment ended up in Sam's pocket. When he discovered it and picked it up, the fragment suddenly turned red and burned his hand, causing him to drop it. It burned through the floor of their house on the first floor and fell to the second floor, causing a commotion.
Afterward, the fragment was taken by a strange Decepticon that could transform into a toy car, and Bumblebee left to report to Optimus Prime.
Since then, Sam often felt like he was seeing strange runes, many of them, which made him feel like he was going crazy.
And now, he was suffering because of it.
With lifeless eyes, he looked several meters away at his girlfriend, Michaela, who stood there in fear and panic, wanting to come over but not daring to move.
Sam murmured, "Bumblebee..."
As he was about to face death, he couldn't help but reminisce about his old buddy from the Autobots.
