The so-called "Lend-Lease Act" refers to a series of free or paid provisions of food, military supplies, and weapons by the United States to other countries during World War II, in order to prevent the expansion of the Axis Powers and support the Allied Powers' policy of blocking Axis invasion.
When carefully studying the detailed records of modern history, especially the periods before and after the two World Wars, Sun Cheng was deeply impressed.
The grand waves of politics are far darker, more mysterious, and more charming than most things in the world.
Through the Lend-Lease Act, the United States only provided a small portion of free goods, but managed to sell most of its surplus products at a great price.
For example, when Sun Cheng was browsing through some electronic libraries in the United States Congress Library, he came across some signed documents that detailed how the political elites of the United States gradually turned its Overseas Colonies and islands from the pockets of the former British Empire into their own colonies and possessions.
Moreover, through the Lease-Lend Act, the United States managed to make dozens of countries fight and destroy each other for its own interests, not only eliminating most of its rivals on the path to hegemony but also finding a sufficiently large market for post-war reconstruction.
Every time Sun Cheng reads this part of history, he can't help but admire the wisdom of the creators and implementers of the Lend-Lease Act.
Now, he is also preparing to use his own "Lend-Lease Act" on the Autobots.
"Master!"
The Forerunner, who had witnessed Sun Cheng conjuring items out of thin air multiple times, was still shocked but had developed some resistance when he saw him taking out boxes of supplies from the Spherical Space.
"Hmm?"
Sun Cheng glanced at him. "Feeling sorry for them?"
"Yes, these supplies are enough for us to build another batch of robots!"
The Forerunner did feel sorry for these supplies. They didn't come out of thin air; they were all obtained by Sun Cheng through selling technology and equipment to Polar Bear and China bit by bit.
Especially after knowing that these supplies were given to their enemies, the Autobots, he couldn't help but feel even more conflicted.
"But we don't have enough warriors!"
Sun Cheng hit the nail on the head and pointed out their biggest weakness. "We still don't have the ability to confront the Autobots and the Skytiger Legion head-on! That's why we need the Autobots to attract the attention of the Decepticons as much as possible!"
Thinking of the reason why he was forced to return to the Real World last time, Sun Cheng's smile had completely turned cold.
Soundwave appearing in North Dovinsk meant that he had set his sights on Sun Cheng.
Although Sun Cheng had done a lot behind the scenes, temporarily preventing the Decepticons from successfully resurrecting Megatron and successfully delaying Megatron's revival time, he felt it was not enough!
Soundwave, Starscream lurking in the shadows, and Lord Fallen still haven't shown themselves. Who knows what they are up to behind the scenes?
Although he had already started preparing some countermeasures, Sun Cheng didn't know how far he needed to go. He could only let the Autobots take the lead for now.
"They are just some supplies and energon..."
Sun Cheng endured the heartache, knowing that the resources he was giving were definitely worth it.
The Autobots and Decepticons were mortal enemies, and all he needed to do was lure them to Egypt, and they would engage in battle.
As for him, he only needed to reap the benefits.
Of course, Sun Cheng would never entrust his safety entirely to others.
He looked at Forerunner and asked, "How much longer until our submarines reach the designated area?"
Previously, when producing the Yasen-class Attack Submarine for Polar Bear, his Decepticon engineer, Hephaestus, was given the task to create their own strategic deterrent based on the Yasen-class.
Because they had learned from the Typhoon-class strategic nuclear submarines and the manufacturing process of the Beifeng Divine-class, the modified Yasen-class by Hephaestus was no longer just an attack submarine. It was a hybrid nuclear submarine with superior flexibility for offensive strikes and partial strategic counterattack capabilities.
Currently, Base Two had produced five modified Yasen-class nuclear submarines, two of which were responsible for protecting several cargo submarines converted from Typhoon-class strategic nuclear submarines, shuttling between Russia and South America.
The other three submarines were patrolling the Eastern Pacific Ocean, providing counterattack capabilities to Base Two when necessary.
Upon discovering that the Decepticons were likely searching for something in Egypt, Sun Cheng gave the order for Base Two to urgently produce a batch of electromagnetic pulse warhead missiles, which were equipped on two modified Yasen-class attack submarines and sent towards Egypt.
Originally, Base Two did not have the technological reserves to produce medium-range missiles. However, through continuous research on some missiles purchased from Polar Bear, his engineers gradually established their own missile technology reserves. They were now able to produce Intermediate-Range Missiles with a range of 1700 kilometers.
A range of 1700 kilometers may not be much for many human countries, but it was sufficient for Sun Cheng for the time being.
Once the situation in Egypt became uncontrollable, he would order the two modified Yasen-class submarines hidden in the Indian Ocean to launch electromagnetic pulse missiles and carry out a devastating strike on the designated area.
It was imperative to ensure that the situation did not turn into Sun Cheng's worst fear!
Forerunner did not reply immediately. Data flickered in his eyes, and it was only after a dozen seconds that he answered, "The submarines have already reached the west coast of Australia and officially entered the Indian Ocean. Based on the current speed, they will arrive at the designated area in no more than 43 hours!"
"Tell them not to rush and prioritize safety!"
The operating systems on the five modified Yasen-class nuclear submarines were highly intelligent and only required the newly bred generation of Decepticons from a few bases to control them.
When necessary, they could also abandon the submarines and escape from the seabed.
"Yes!"
Forerunner responded, and then as if remembering something, he looked up at Sun Cheng and hesitated before saying, "Master, the Micro Surveillance Device we left with the human boy Sam, has captured the traces of other Decepticons. It seems they are planning to target that human boy!"
"Hmm?"
Sun Cheng was taken aback. The human boy Sam and his girlfriend Michaela were just tools he used to communicate with the Autobots, so he didn't pay much attention to them.
After the shard was stolen by Rewind and fell into his hands, he only left some Micro Surveillance Devices there to periodically monitor their movements. He didn't expect to discover the traces of other Decepticons.
"The shard has already been lost, and Rewind is currently imprisoned in Base Two... Why would the Decepticons still be targeting Sam?"
Due to insufficient information, Sun Cheng couldn't come up with a definite idea for the moment.
After pondering for a moment, he said to Forerunner, "Inform the Autobots that no matter what the Decepticons are planning, we should give them some trouble."
