Time to Choose the Winner!

There were so many fantastic entries that it took me quite a bit of yesterday to choose five finalists. In case you're curious of the process, there were nearly 70 entries initially. First I whittled those down to 27 that really caught my eye. That clearly wasn't enough. Then I narrowed that down to 16. Better, but still not enough! Then it was 11, which was so small a reduction I realized that it was going to be really hard to let any more go. So I tried again and knocked it down to 8, and at this point, each elimination was killing me because they were all so good. But I soldiered on and finally chose the top five. So while I'm sure it's little consolation if you didn't get picked, please know how incredibly good so many of these were. I love your creativity.

These are great but based on the criteria, not many fit. I guess out of these, I could see them actually retcon him to be a brilliant scientist ππ€¦
