I know! Either Videl is more intelligent in the manga, or they really needed to stall for time in anime.
I recently re-read the manga, and was surprised on how quick the whole Great Saiyaman was discovered by Video. After having watched the anime a lot more, I was used to it being a proper secret for a much longer time. Great start to the ark!
