A little preamble for those that don't know what HPDTNP is. Every month we hold a poll, every second month we hold a HPDTNP. This is a place where patrons can cast their suggestions for what pack is made. The choice is semi-random (we filter through them to make sure they make sense) so any one of your suggestions can be chosen.

[Update]? [Separate Pack]?
`Battle_Post-Apocalypse_Exteriors_01_Winter_Streets` (name subject to change)
Seems like the gods demand we continue down the update path. Though I am unsure whether to implement this addition as an update or a separate pack...
The idea being that we take the existing "Battle_Post-Apocalypse_Exteriors_01_Overgrown_Streets" and add a snowy version to each asset.
-- If I make it a separate pack it'll be a little more organized and make the packs smaller + easier to sell separately (>:D)
-- But if I make it an update and make my naming just right, I could allow for save-file editing to instantly transform any overgrown scene into a snowy scene. But this is a little bit of an 'advanced technique' so unsure how useful it would actually be.
Could add a couple more assets in here as well, anything folks felt like was sincerely missing from the original pack? I remember the sidewalks could use a bit of editing so that the texture isn't necessarily the gray one.

The input definitely helps add to the pros and cons list in my head. Having it is a separate pack would make it more user-friendly and the expense of advanced user functionality. Sad as it is, there are usually far more less advanced users. And even with tutorials if it takes extra effort folks are unlikely to use the function. So my effort could be for naught.

I'd probably vote for the 'separate pack' option - because it also means that folk who aren't making a winter map don't need to load that pack into their active DungeonDraft, reducing system load. But then, if you're adding or editing assets, you would need to re-release the original pack as an update as well, which means now releasing two packs ... (I do like the elegant attraction of the save-file editing snowfall, but that does sound somewhat fiddly - I'm not even tried to open a save-file in Notepad++ or similar yet.) I'm not helping, am I. I should probably get some lunch.
