So, what that guy that she gave birth to looked like to me are what they called "The Engineers" these are the beings that created the Xenomorphs. You need to go watch the 2 prequels to the original Alien movie. Alien: Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. You get introduced to the Engineers in those movies and how they created the Xenomorph race and sent them out into the universe.
