Starting with anime films would be better. Like "Ghost in the Shell" "Paprika" "Akira" or "Perfect Blue." Two of these are free on Youtube.

Since you like animated films you should check out Spirited Away or maybe even and Anime series like Cowboy Bebop. They'd probably have to be a patreon exclusive though.
