I hope the person who hates Slasher Saturdays enjoyed this movie. The storyline was terrible but my favorite part was when Freddy ordered a pizza and said he loved "soul food" while eating the souls of his victims in the shape of......meatballs lol

That reminds me how every once in a while, I see lists of "Children's Toys From R-Rated movies." When you think about it, it is an odd choice by them. Or more likely, them trying to subtly admit that kids watch these movies they are "too young to see."

Believe it or not, they only get worse from here. The original and #3 are the only ones worth watching. Sometimes trash is entertaining, but I hate that Freddy became a cartoonish buffoon after Dream Warriors. Of all the classic slashers, the original Nightmare is my very favorite and terrified me the most as a kid. I couldn’t sleep for WEEKS. To me, the Jasons and Michaels are meh (except for the first Halloween). And I never was a Chucky fan, but you’ll probably enjoy those. Hopefully you can make it through to Freddy vs. Jason. That’s a fun watch! For now, I think switching into RiffTrax/MST3K mode is your best survival strategy for Slasher Saturdays. Seriously - it’s gonna get rough.

I am sure Freddy has seen his reflection before, you see the way he poses and shit. I'm pretty sure he jumped through a mirror in one of the movies,... trash.
