Suggested Idea - Materialization of a Girl's Dream
🕑 Added 2022-06-13 15:46:18 +0000 UTCI always heard from people, even those I considered to be close friends, that I should never trust men. They said men would just use me, that they would never love me because of the way I am.
I think that's the reason why I treated Marcus so badly when we first met. He was always so respectful to me, always making sure he was never offending me in any way, but still, I was so distrustful of him. I gave too much thought to what others said instead of basing myself on reality.
It's been five years since we are together now. I'm glad Marcus has never given up on me, even when I have given him good reasons for that.
It's interesting to think that none of those friends of mine are around anymore. Some of them seem to be jealous of our relationship, while others were too blind by their misandry to accept that one of their friends has a successful relationship with a man.
Life goes on, and I don't think things could be as better as they are now. We love each other so much. After everything we've been through, I know that anything nor anyone will separate us.

Either way, I think it’s a beautiful sentiment!

I agree! :)
A part 2 of them on their honeymoon would be great.

The story here is fiction, but it's loosely inspired by some life experiences of mine. :)
