It's possible to make it work, but not ideal. You can run into bad matchups or teamcomps you don't synergize with, or having no R value which will make your champ have a hard time. Team comp example you would NOT want to play Sylas in: Vlad Kindred Jinx Jenna

Decent in master+ but its probably good to be OTP/proficient at him and you also need to draft him in correct spots.
