Update on Beta
🕑 Added 2024-08-23 19:29:28 +0000 UTCI have working all nights since the announcement (Since the days around here are of 35-36C°)
It is a challenging work, a bit hard on the eyes
Since it requires constant scrolling through thousands of words, for either
-Making
-Updating
and
-Debugging
With all the work I have been doing, the actual updaing work that is left is easy and smooth.
The issue here is the quanitity. I Didn't realize how much I have code for this project after the years, and it keeps amazing me.
So, first... A clarification for what the Beta will be
Craterdom 0.9.0 Will be the equivalent of the last version of Devious Valley 1.0.35
The actual content for the full Craterdom experience will be on the works after I release and test the Beta with the ones who want to test it.
So, here is a Breakdown of the graphic in the image :

These are the total events from Devious Valley converted to the new format.
So far, I have just completed all the Solicitation events
I need to convert all :
-Husband love
-Heart events for all the Frat Npcs
-Dominus events
-KentAsA Servant events
-Halloween events
And any stray events that don´t belong to the other cathegories.. like the one with all the Bachelors on Gus Saloon.

-----Testing------
This means "Testing for basic stability"
I am sure there will be typos and even some errors in some events.
Thats why I will need the help of the beta testers, to make this updating work a bit more faster.
The testing is not limited to the events, it is spread amongs all the content.
-Items
-Machines
-Locations
-Npcs
and ofc Events.

----New Content----
Another clarification.
This new content, is some new Small content pieces that I would love to throw in the Beta (And not the actual Craterdom planned content)
For example:
I have been doing extra work on each event to add CustomStat Tracking depending on your actions/Choices
And I do plan on making some sort of "Achievemet Hall", So you can get Statues Of different materials based on the number of times you have performed X action.
So, You can go for a personal record for X npc this way ;)
This is the base of a greater content, since I can later give the farmer rewards and Consecuences for it ofc.

I’m SO excited!! I’m sure it must be a lot of work and I am so thankful for all the work you put towards it! Don’t stress yourself by working too hard - take breaks and take care of yourself!

I can’t imagine how tough all the coding is 😅 it’s literally the one class I failed TWICE!! Still though, I’m so excited to see what you end up doing. But make sure to take your time too and don’t over stress
