This is our first update for 2021, and it's centered all around Garreth. We added the third date with the blue dragon to get some more nice private time. But Garreth has also finally been able to secure himself a permanent position as a barkeeper in the Heaven's Peak Resort, making Tish instead become a cook behind the scenes.
This build concludes our phasing out of Tish as a dateable character; Garreth replaced her wherever she appeared before, and now she is only mentioned in the story instead. We were always aware of our great character roster and that we needed to cut down on a few main dateable ones. Tish just happened to have little significance in the story overall, and even though she is a totally huggable beast, she was one of the few easy cuts. She might perhaps appear again, but only as a minor side role, if at all.
What's more important is that, with this build, Garreth as a character has also finalized the transition away from our original direction for him back in 2018. His dating content is brand new and his character development is more fleshed out as who we wanted him to be from the beginning. So for those who remember or have played the game some years prior and disliked Garreth's content, feel free to give his route another try!
Aside from these, the second and third day of the story have received lots of dialogue changes and additions as we continue to replace Yarin's monologues with proper narration and fix any inconsistencies we may find.
Garreth's third date also brought two new backgrounds along with it, one of which can be seen above. However, while more work has been done behind the scenes on updating character reference sheets and sound design, nothing else could make it into this build yet. You might see the new music and sound additions in the build after this one.

Changelog

- Replaced Tish (bartender alligator) with Garreth throughout days 3-5 and added new dialogue for him during the bar segments.
- Revamped days 2 and 3 with many dialogue changes and additions.
- Other small text inconsistencies fixed with the story text.
Known bugs
- Mash clicking through text (not using skipping) can cause audio to be muted at certain points (will be fixed in future refactor).
- Some side images and sprites were added to some scenes to fill the blanks and will be replaced in the future as we get more sprites made.
- Sometimes loading a save will cause an audio pop.

Yep, a CG is planned and we are in fact going to commission it from Lumix as soon as she opens a slot in her commissions again. Also, Brando's short address towards Yarin will be slightly edited as we changed our plans for his role in the story. He's no longer going to leave right away, and the player will get to interact more with them later in the story as part of a side-arc. As far as estimates go, we are unsure, as we're not focusing on that at the moment. We first want to get the existing content polished and add the exploratory phase of dating with every main dateable character by the end of the summer.

Loving the update, Garreth's third date is... really nice. Is there a CG planned for it at some point in the future? Also, is there any vague estimate for when we'll get to visit Brando before he leaves? No worries if not.
