VIDEO – Quick Tutorial and a Demonstration of Sketching 4 Different Animals 🦝 🐸 🐓🦛
🕑 Added 2023-06-20 12:02:41 +0000 UTCHey there, my awesome Potato Angels!
I've got an exciting treat for you today — a brand new 40-minute video where I spill the beans on my animal sketching process! 🐾✏️
In the beginning part of this video, I'll give you a quick rundown of my tried-and-true method for drawing animals. I'll be sharing some handy tips and tricks to bring those furry, feathery, and scaly creatures to life on paper.
In the latter part of the video, I'm sharing demonstration of drawing four different animals: a raccoon, a frog, a chicken, and a fabulous capybara. 🦝 🐸 🐓🦛
I'll be sharing a condensed version of this tutorial on my Instagram — a 90-second reel that captures the essence of the full video. It's perfect for a quick inspiration fix or a refresher whenever you need it. Make sure to save it on your Instagram so you can easily access it anytime you want 🤗
Here are the materials I used in this video:
📚 Arteza Sketchbook – Sketchbook, Hardbound, 8.3” x 11.7”, 100 Pages
✏️ HB 9000 Pencil from Faber-Castell
🧽 Kneadable Eraser for cleaning up those sketching blunders
🖊️ Pitt Graphite Matt Pencil from Faber-Castell – 12B, for achieving those deep black values
✏️ MONO Graph, Tombow Mechanical Pencil – 0.5mm, 2B Lead
🌪️ Paper Stump from Faber-Castell for blending
And here's the Pinterest board with all the references: LINK 📌
Let me know which creature you'd like to draw. I would absolutely love to see your sketches! 🎨 Feel free to hop over to our Discord channel or tag me on Instagram with your animal doodles.
Hugs,
Gaby
