He knows the missus is a bit too into Live / Die for his taste, really, and this cosplay thing has gotten more than a little out of hand, but if it makes her happy he'll play along. Actually the series is in proper order - Eva slowly built the suspense in the early panels, which show Luz slowly moving in on and then surprising Turtle before taking him out of scene to get him into his Live/Die gear
