Short Lives of the Dead 5

<You- you all died on your last mission? All of you?> Eriko sends over the private squad link as she steps down out of her stasis pod, gratefully accepting a hand from a lovely young tech, afraid that her quivering legs wont' support her.
<Yep.> The squad's top, Agent Black replies in a matter-of-fact tone, still enjoying her memory and suit inducer orgasm.
<The missions they send us on don't usually have a better survival probability than 5%> Veltyria adds, her mental tone warbling with ecstasy as she too steps out of her pod and kisses her tech, the young woman returning her deep kiss eagerly.
<Why send people who aren't willing to die for the war when there are people that are?> Welgennia adds, back in control of herself and enjoying the fact that her tech is fondling herself as she watches her climax.
<But- but I mean there's a chance of survival, right?> Eriko practically moans.
<Sure, in theory.> Black admits. <But even if you do they'll just send you on another mission, and another, until you get knocked off. You were dead the second you joined the Void Fighters, Agent Eriko. Since we're about to be deployed you've got about fifteen minutes, real time, to accept that.>
<I- I know that.> Eriko stammers. She trails off, biting her lip.
<It's ok, Eri, everyone dies, how hard can it be?> Veltyria purrs over the link, picking her slim tech off the deck as if she were weightless and pressing the writhing girl's fit body against her own.
<Yeah, you must have seen counselors before they let you join. Your psyche makeup has got to be appropriate for the duty, you'll be fine.> Welgennia adds helpfully, pressing herself back into the recesses of her pod as her tech caresses her toned body.
<I'm just... I can't believe I'm doing this!> Eriko gasps, feeling her own body respond as her tech traces a finger along one of her erect nipples, but also struggling with the cognitive dissonance of her body's programmed pleasure responses with the apparent certainty of her own impending death. <If - If I die... they'll, they'll take my memories and put them in a new body and - she'll have - I'll have - she'll have all my memories, right? She'll be me.> She stammers, repeating what even a Child in the culture understands perfectly well.
<No, you'll be dead. She'll just be some slut running around who THINKS she's you!> Veltyria laughs.
<But she'll have all your memories, absolutely.> Welgennia says kindly, pulling the little blonde tech into her suspension pod, the girl responding with an adorable yelp of surprise and anticipation. <For everyone who knows you and loves you you'll still be alive... for all intents and purposes.>
<Relax, Eri, hit your orgasm inducer.> Consoles Black, taking her own advice and hitting her own inducer for the second time since being activated. <You'll feel better. It'll all be over in fifteen minutes anyway!>

If you're not already familiar with this little series it started on DA here; https://www.deviantart.com/666markofthebeast666/art/The-Short-Lives-of-the-Dead-1-781317833
I hope you'll check it out! There's a bit of a story so it will be confusing unless you start at the beginning!
Right... Hello, darlings! Thank you SO much for joining me here on Patreon! This is all quite new to me so I hope you will not be shy in sharing your suggestions with me for how I can improve my Patreon site, what sort of art you'd like to see more of, and how much you adore me! That last wasn't a suggestion bu you know I never mind it! Purr purr purr
Right... this piece is also available over on my DA page, but nowhwere near as large, so I'm making it available in all it's oversized glory for all my loyal Patreons here. This series has ONE more frame already paid for (Thank you, Ben, darling!) and then I'm afraid these girls may run out of steam as I've got NO attention span (unless I'm being paid, LOLOL), so hopefully someone will be interested in commissioning more frames with them. Right now the commission is a bit open-ended, so it's a bit of "Eva's Choice" but obviously if you're paying whatever you want to happen, happens. I know how I THINK this little story is going to end, but that doesn't mean that these birds can't have flashbacks to assignations and other non-lethal naughtiness, or memories of their "previous" lives for some EXTREMELY lethal naughtiness.
I suppose that's probably enough but for one last thing. In addition to just saying THANK YOU again for joining me here I should mention that this is a bit of fangirling on my part - these birds are inspired by the brave lasses (and presumably lads - do let me know if any of us are into that! I have MANY beautiful boys looking for a home!) of Ian Banks' Special Circumstances division of Contact from his Culture series of novels. If you are not familiar with Ian Banks' Culture series you are missing one of the GREAT WORKS of sci-fi and I STRONGLY encourage you to read it. When we meet for our monthly discussion group (I do hope you'll all come!) science fiction is one of my favourite topics! Hmm... Maybe I should make my own version of Dejah Thoris??
Enough of my mental ramblings! Enjoy, and thank you again!
Kisses!
Eva
