A zombie apocalypse, the kind you only see in movies or comics.
For a moment, my mind froze at the reality that it was actually happening. But soon, a tingling sensation ran through my head, and my halted mind began to work again.
Quickly facing the situation, my rationality started to prioritize what needed to be done right now.
‘First, secure the entrances… then stock up on supplies and gather information… and then…’
Right then.
A sharp sound came from outside the window, which had been quiet as usual.
“Kyaaaaaa!!”
It was a scream so horrific that it was on a completely different level from a woman seeing a cockroach. My body moved on its own as I approached the window.
Looking down, I saw a plump lady and the security guard.
The lady’s bag was lying on the ground, and the security guard-his eye and cheek completely torn off-was staggering toward her.
“G-get away…”
Maybe she was frozen with fear, because instead of turning and running, the lady just took small steps backward.
Meanwhile, the security guard, drooling some unknown yellow mucus from his mouth, was rapidly closing the distance.
Soon, when they were less than two meters apart, the guard-who had lost all traces of his former self-crouched slightly.
Then, with a strange noise, he leapt and tackled the lady.
“Kugh-uhhh!”
“Ghuuu… kururuk puk-hup!…”
As the guard’s teeth bit into her neck, the lady’s short scream was replaced by the sound of her choking on her own blood, echoing through the apartment complex.
At the same time, I saw the lady’s body convulse every time the guard’s head moved.
At that moment, I felt an uncanny chill.
Watching the lady get her neck bitten by the guard, I didn’t feel fear, disgust, or even pity.
Instead, I found myself closely observing the guard, who was engrossed in tearing flesh, and the lady’s body as it gradually changed.
The sense that something inside me was missing made me feel uneasy, but then I felt a warm, soft sensation on my right forearm.
Squeeze♡
“Minwoo, w-what is that…”
Turning my head to the right at Aunt Hyeyeon’s trembling voice, I saw her terrified face and her voluptuous breasts wrapped around my arm.
Her supple flesh was pressed against my muscular arm.
The next moment, her breasts, squished like water balloons under my fingers, filled my vision, and the uneasiness I felt vanished without a trace.
Absurdly, the excitement I felt at seeing Aunt Hyeyeon’s breasts erased my discomfort.
Once again, my mind started spinning quickly, reminding me that I couldn’t waste any time right now.
Swish-
“Auntie, pull yourself together! I’ll explain everything later, but please help me for now.”
“O-okay, Minwoo.”
First, I closed the curtains, then grabbed Auntie’s arms and asked her to help.
Then, I started carrying out the tasks I’d mentally prepared in advance.
“Auntie, please fill every bottle in the house with water from the purifier.”
“O-okay.”
She still seemed out of it, but she nodded and started doing what I asked.
A little later.
While she headed to the purifier, I muted the TV to reduce noise, locked the front door, and removed all the batteries from the digital lock.
Going further, I took out boxes filled with heavy items like dumbbells and stacked them chest-high in front of the door, making a makeshift barricade.
If the door was breached, the boxes would at least buy us some time.
That sense of security lasted only a moment.
I went around the house, gathering anything that could be used as a weapon or armor.
After about 10 minutes of searching every nook and cranny, Auntie finished filling all the bottles and tumblers with water, and I laid out everything I’d gathered on the living room floor.
Three kitchen knives.
One wooden stick (1m).
One hammer.
One aluminum bat.
One bicycle helmet.
Fifteen magazines.
And two rolls of all-purpose duct tape.
‘It’s lucky Mom’s hobby is woodworking, so we have a wooden stick at home… but it would’ve been better to have a few more.’
Regretting the lack of wooden sticks to compensate for the short reach of the kitchen knives, I immediately began making weapons and armor with the materials at hand.
Rip, rip, stick, stick
Working quickly while screams rang out from outside, I wrapped duct tape around everything and, in about five minutes, made a kitchen knife spear and two pairs of magazine arm guards.
I was about to make shin guards out of magazines when I felt like I’d forgotten something.
‘Wait, did I miss something important… Ah! Mom!’
I quickly pulled out my phone from my pocket and saw “16 missed calls from Mom” on the screen.
…
After narrowly avoiding becoming a truly unfilial son, I confirmed Mom’s safety over the phone.
I finished the call by telling her-who said Jeju was still safe-to stock up on necessities and stay inside, and that I’d check in every morning and evening at 9.
Kuweeeee!! Boom! Crack…
Meanwhile, the screams and the sounds of things crashing and tearing outside grew even louder.
Every time that happened, Aunt Hyeyeon’s face grew darker, so I started to explain the situation to her.
“Auntie. You know what a ‘zombie’ is, right?”
“Yes… the dead biting people and infecting them… so what happened on the first floor earlier was really…?”
“Yes, that’s right. And I think zombies are happening here in Korea now.”
“Gasp!”
When I said that a zombie apocalypse seemed to be happening, Auntie gasped and looked shocked.
But only for a moment.
Her expression changed, and a will to live flared in her eyes.
Then, with a determined look, she spoke.
“I’ve never known what to do in a situation like this, never even imagined it. So Minwoo… I’ll just do what you tell me.”
“Auntie…”
Hearing her say she’d do as I said, my gaze instinctively drifted toward her voluptuous breasts.
‘No, you idiot! If you get caught staring at her chest in a situation like this, you’ll be humiliated.’
I barely managed to restrain myself with superhuman patience, but then Auntie’s next action undid all my efforts.
Grab!
Jiggle♡
“I mean it, Minwoo. I haven’t even gotten married yet-I can’t die so meaninglessly.”
She grabbed my hand without warning and declared she couldn’t die before getting married.
It sounded a bit funny, but as her voluptuous breasts jiggled heavily in the process…
I couldn’t resist any longer, and my gaze drifted to the edge of her chest.
There, her supple flesh wrapped in thin yoga wear and the slightly sweaty upper cleavage filled my vision.
Her pale breasts looked so soft and bouncy, just imagining the feel made my mouth water.
And the glistening sweat made it all the more alluring.
The sight was enough to make me forget all about the zombies for a moment, and the reality of the world ending faded a bit.
My primal male instincts grew stronger in proportion.
Gulp.
‘What would it feel like to bury my nose between those boobs?’
Unconsciously swallowing the saliva pooling in my mouth, my desire for her breasts grew.
Just as something dormant between my legs began to awaken-
A loud bang came from the front door, beyond the barricade.
Bang!!
At the sound of something hard hitting the metal door, both Auntie and I turned toward the entrance.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The pounding repeated, and we each grabbed the bat and the kitchen knife spear and headed to the barricade.
As we approached the entrance, the pounding continued, and then a rough male voice came through the door.
“You’re in there, right, 703? Please open the door! Ugh… my wife came home and suddenly bit me like she’d gone crazy! I locked her in the house, but I barely got out and couldn’t grab anything. Please call 119!”
It was the voice of the man from 704, our neighbor across the hall.
A bald man in his 50s who, thanks to being the building owner, had married a woman in her 20s.
I didn’t care who my neighbor lived with, but ever since we met, his behavior had been a big problem.
Whether it was his age or his status as the building owner, he’d always spoken rudely to me and Mom, acting like a jerk.
Now, in a zombie apocalypse, when even letting in a friendly neighbor would be a tough call, the chance of letting in this jerk was less than 10%.
‘And he said he was bitten by his wife, who’s probably turned into a zombie? Then it’s over.’
The chance of our front door opening dropped to 0%.
