I've been in a creative slump for a long while, but I've decided to seriously work on making zines and merch and stuff! so some of my longer projects are on hold for a while, and I'll focus on putting things together (like the Sailor Moon studies zine!) and I'll update my progress here!!!
This is one of the zines I wanna make. My ExMag comic Gargoyle Temple (slightly cleaned up and with screentone shadows this time), collected with a bunch of concept sketches I made while brainstorming that comic, plus some thoughts and thumbnails. I decided to make it look a bit like an old pulpy comic magazine I loved as a kid (Magnum comics), though it probably won't actually be thick enough for a spine.
the fonts here are all placeholders because I made it in photoshop and don't have access to cool fonts, but the general idea is there. (The price is also a placeholder!)

thank you!!! the Sailor Moon studies started just for the fun of studying Sailor Moon :) I was rewatching it and wanted to take notes and ended up taking way more than I had first intended

I LOVED your gargoyle comic so much I'm excited for this! Also happy to hear that you're planning to make a zine from the Sailor Moon studies. I've been wondering, did you choose to do those studies in preperation for a specific project or just for the fun of studying Sailor Moon? Your work always inspires me! keep up the beautiful art
