"What is that?"
"It seems to be fish cakes."
"Fish cakes?"
Venus, who had always lived in the church in the imperial capital of the Bice Empire, had never seen such a snack.
"As expected of the pampered princess of the church. This is just a fish-shaped cake."
Lynn seized the opportunity to mock Venus a bit.
Wasn't she also the princess of a family that had a surname... Of course, Aker did not dare to say this sentence in front of Lynn.
"Elder Brother, is the money we brought enough?"
"Mhm, Sister Nia has advanced my salary, and the things here are very cheap."
"Then... I want to eat that."
Loulou pointed to the stall selling marshmallows on the side of the street, smiled, and asked Aker to buy it for her.
Although she was usually a girl who Aker could depend on, her immature heart was still more vulnerable to the surrounding lively environment.
While wandering around the festival fair, the crowds around gradually increased. The four of them soon arrived at the center of the market. The closer they were to the central area, the greater the population density.
"So many people, are these all the residents of this small town?"
Loulou had never been to a place with so many people before, and she hugged Aker's arm tightly.
"There should be some travelers like us."
Aker looked around. In addition to the plainly dressed people at the market, some people also wore different styles of clothing.
"Let's also buy some clothes with the characteristics of this town, as a souvenir."
Although everyone had enough clothes to wear, Aker wanted them to blend into this small town.
"Eh?……"
"What's wrong?"
"No... nothing..."
Venus uttered a surprised noise, but when Aker asked, she shook her head again.
But at that moment, Venus did catch a familiar touch of silver among the crowd.
"Really?" Since Venus said that, Aker didn't think much about it. "I know a good shop for clothes."
He was referring to the shop that he bought Loulou's and Lynn's clothes before. It was better for girls to choose their own clothes. Aker thought.
The furnishings in the store were still the same, and the beige chandelier on the top illuminated the whole store very warmly.
"Go and see for yourself, I'll wait outside."
Aker didn't want to be treated as a weird person with special hobbies by the store staff and customers like last time.
"Then you just wait here obediently, I don't want to spend time looking for you."
Lynn let go of Aker's hand reluctantly, still not forgetting to remind him.
"Okay, okay, I get it. I will just have some fresh air at the door."
He withdrew his arm from Loulou's embrace, turned, and walked outside the store.
"I always feel like my elder brother especially doesn't want to enter the store..." Loulou looked at Aker's back, feeling a little regretful, "I want to get my elder brother's opinion..."
"I guess it was something weird he did when he came here to buy clothes for us."
Lynn added another "crime" to Aker in her heart.
The evening breeze was helpful for thinking. Aker was thinking about Venus and Lynn's problems while waiting outside.
"Hi, long time no see, boy."
The surrounding lights were too dim, and Aker didn't notice that there was a person beside him.
…………
"I really want to know, why are there so many clothes of this type here?" Lynn said in surprise, "There are so many customers, but generally no one will wear this kind of clothes on the street, right?"
As she said, the store even displayed gorgeous dresses that were only worn for banquets, and most of the styles of the dress were incompatible with the country style.
Would a clothing store in such a border town really profit by selling this kind of clothes? It was much better to say that this was purely a personal exhibition held by a certain clothing collector.
Lynn turned her head and found that the "spoiled church princess" also looked confused.
"Hey, don't tell me you have seen this kind of clothes for the first time..."
Venus didn't react for a moment when Lynn suddenly talked to her in a cold face.
"Huh? Ah! I'm sorry, I'm sorry……"
Finding that Lynn was speaking to her, her first sentence after reacting was an apology, but Lynn was frightened by the unexpected torrent of apology.
At this time, it was really hard to see that Venus was the kind of girl who was spoiled in the church. She was more like a girl next door who had never seen the world.
"Wait a minute, you made me look like a bad person!" Lynn pressed Venus's little head with her hand, finally made her stop apologizing. She sighed, "I just feel very strange, isn't this kind of clothes equivalent to your casual wear? Why does it appear like it is the first time for you to see this kind of clothes?"
"No, it's really the first time I have seen... I rarely leave the church, and I always wear the uniform of the church."
"The uniform of the church?"
"Mhm... It is the rule..."
In Venus's eyes, the rules of the church were the rules of life. In contrast, perhaps she who used to have a free life was much happier than her.
... Wait. Why did she suddenly begin to pity her? Wasn't this a sign of being fooled by her?
Lynn forced herself to pull a cold face and said, "oh."
Part 14
Slender arms stretched out from the fitting room beside them. Loulou was trying on new clothes inside, and it seemed that she had found a favorite outfit.
Lynn opened a corner of the curtain and walked in, Venus followed closely. They did not expect that the fitting room behind the curtain was a "miserable" scene.
What Loulou tried on was a pure white dress that didn't fit her petite figure at all.
The high-end dress was decorated with heavy frills, and the ribbon that should have been tied into a butterfly shape was randomly knotted. The zipper on the back was not closed. The smooth back was fully visible. The corners of the skirt dragged on the floor were piled up next to her feet.
"What's going on……"
Lynn had no idea that such high-end clothing would be worn like this by Loulou. But without the experience of wearing this kind of clothing, it was naturally impossible to simply wear it without the help of others.
Most of the clothes designed for the rich were worn by servants.
"Sister Lynn, Venus, help me..."
"How did you end up like up..."
With her back facing the two of them, Loulou, who was sitting on the ground, seemed like she was about to burst into tears at any time.
Lynn felt speechless and pressed her forehead, while Venus smiled and helped Loulou untie the knot that she had tied.
"Because this is very similar to my previous dress, so I just wanted to try it out..."
"It's too early for you to wear this kind of clothes now, but I seem to be able to wear this kind of clothes," said Lynn, holding her mature breasts with her hands.
Loulou reluctantly changed back to her kimono with tears, while Lynn calmly took off her kimono in the changing room.
Her figure did look much more mature than the two girls who were developing, and the black lace underwear sets off this mature charm.
Loulou deliberately pretended not to see it to protect her self-esteem. Venus seemed to see her goal, full of anticipation and hope.
Lynn was confident and put on the pure white dress that Loulou chose. Venus quickly stepped forward to help her tie the ribbon and zip up the zipper behind her, making her look like a maid dedicated to Lynn.
Lynn was not confident for no reason, this dress really seemed to be tailor-made for her. But after knowing the price of this dress, everyone fell silent.
At this moment, Venus, who had not tried any clothes, suddenly made a request.
The person who came to visit Aker suddenly was Tara. She said that she saw Aker and his group while visiting the festival.
Most of the time she was listening to Aker talking about what happened after leaving the hotel recently. When Aker asked her why she wanted to give Venus to him, Tara gave a vague response.
Aker originally wanted to get a clear answer, but she ran away.
Lynn and Loulou, who just came out of the store, stopped Aker who wanted to catch her.
"Elder Brother, where is Venus?"
"Isn't she with you two?"
"She said she needed to do something, so she ran out. I thought she was looking for you, elder brother... Didn't you see Venus when she came out?"
At this time, Aker felt something strange. When chatting with Tara just now, he turned his back to the store door, so Tara must have seen Venus running outside the store.
But she went on talking nonchalantly, without reminding him. Why did she do this?
"Anyway, go find her now!" Aker stopped thinking about it. "If we leave her alone, it is very dangerous. Uncle Gurley said before that her location has already been exposed to the church. Why is she still so careless? She is clearly wanted by the church.."
Although he blamed Venus for her carelessness, Aker was actually blaming himself. This time, it was entirely because of his own negligence that he didn't notice that Venus had left everyone.
If something happened to Venus, he would never forgive himself.
The three people searched around the streets of the festival, but they failed to find Venus's pure white figure.
Aker found a bench on the side of the street and told Louloud and Lynn to stay here.
"You two wait here and don't go to other places. I will be back soon."
"Hey, wait for me!"
But Aker had disappeared in the crowd.
"What is he doing..." Lynn sat down on the bench, "What's this. Did he think that we are getting in the way..."
"I think my elder brother should have other plans. After all, there are so many people in the market. We have to make sure that we don't get separated while looking for Venus."
"...You always find excuses for that guy. He always takes it upon himself..."
…………
Aker kept walking along the main road of the market, and the crowd around him became smaller and smaller.
He was about to leave the lively market, there was a sparse grove in front of him.
It didn't take long for Aker to walk out of the grove, and a river that stretched northward appeared before his eyes.
And the girl with long white hair swaying stood on the bank of the river, looking up at the night sky.
——Finally found her.
Aker breathed a sigh of relief and walked gently to Venus's side. Venus was still looking up at the night sky dreamily, without noticing that Aker had come behind her.
And Aker didn't disturb her, just stood quietly behind her.
The sound of insects' chirpings and running water accompany this quiet picture.
"It won't be you, right... Definitely not..."
"Mhm? Venus, did you say anything?"
Aker thought that Venus was talking to him, and responded to her.
Startled, Venus turned her head quickly. Only then did she find Aker standing behind her.
"Oh, you found me..."
"Of course. You ran away without any explanation. Everyone is looking for you. I said I would protect you no matter what, right? So, don’t always think about solving all problems alone. Sometimes you need to rely on people around you. Although I also know that I don't have that great ability to be your support, if I work hard, I can still help a little. Let's go, let's go back."
Aker didn't blame Venus who left alone, nor did he ask her why she did it.
He also didn't know who Venus whispered to. If she wanted to say something, she would naturally say it. If she didn't want to say it, it meant that she didn't want Aker to know.
Venus's eyes teared up again. She suddenly turned around and plunged into Aker's arms, hugging his waist tightly.
"Thank you……"
She said in a low voice, not knowing if Aker had heard it.
But even then, Venus was already satisfied.
Part 15
When Aker returned with Venus, the crowd at the market had completely dispersed, and the lively atmosphere of the festival gradually cooled down.
Aker took Venus back to the bench, Loulou and Lynn had already leaned against each other and fallen asleep.
"Those two are really careless..." Aker gently squeezed their faces, "Get up, we are going back."
The two opened their sleepy eyes in a daze, Lynn woke up faster than Loulou.
The deserted atmosphere around told them what time it was now.
"You found her... then you must have tried very hard. Good job."
Although it sounded like she was praising Aker, Aker did not hear the feeling of appreciation but felt that Lynn was a little unhappy.
"Let's go back, sister Nia and Uncle Gurley are still waiting..."
Loulou quickly interrupted the conversation between the two.
After Venus lowered her head and apologized to everyone for suddenly running away, the four people walked to the pub again.
…………
After hanging up the door sign for the close of business, Nia asked the three girls to use the bathroom first, and went to the second floor to continue doing the things she hadn't finished before.
Gurley and Aker still used the bathroom at the end as usual.
"It is a lot of fun in the market, right?"
"I'm almost exhausted... Although it is indeed very fun."
"Now Nia has gone upstairs. So this is a rare opportunity!"
Gurley gestured in the direction of the bathroom with his eyes, and Aker knew what he wanted to express immediately.
"I won't go no matter what."
It was impossible to say that Aker was not interested in the side of the bathroom curtain at all, but the moral principle had held him back.
"As a man with a normal sexual orientation, don't tell me that you are not interested in the body of a girl! Since you don't want to watch it, then be my lookout."
Gurley stood up from the bar seat at once, picked up Aker by the collar, and led him to the curtain of the bathroom.
Aker wanted to protest, but it was impossible to make a sound here, otherwise, he would be spotted by the girls in the bathroom.
In the quiet hall, the sound of the girls' voices came from behind the curtain.
…………
In the misty bathroom, the three young girls put the clothes they took off into the laundry basket in the dressing room.
"No matter how I look at it, they are bigger than mine..."
Seeing Lynn's much more mature body, Loulou looked down at her own flat chest, pouting her small mouth full of resentment.
This was exactly the gap between well-developed and poorly developed.
"Huh, huh, huh, Are you jealous? "
Lynn immediately saw through Loulou's thoughts from her expression, deliberately supporting her chest with her arms. Being provoked by Lynn, the jealous look in Loulou's eyes became stronger.
"I'm not! That kind of stuff, I don’t care..." She said unwillingly. She moved a small stool and sat behind Venus who was getting her hair wet, "Venus, let me wash your hair for you."
"Thank you……"
Venus also glanced tremblingly at the plump breasts that she had never had, and then immediately looked away.
Lynn, who had achieved a complete victory, showed a triumphantly confident smile, got in the hot water.
Loulou took out a scoop of water to wet Venus's long hair, applied the shampoo, and rubbed gently from the top of her head.
"Mmm..."
Loulou massaged the top of Venus's head with a gentle technique, making her let out a comfortable sound like a little puppy.
Although it was pure white long hair, it was not the kind of hair that lacked vigor because of old age, but pure white and beautiful color.
The hair between Loulou's fingers had a soft and delicate feeling.
Moreover, Venus's hair was very long, and it could drop down to the calf position just standing. This kind of length was very troublesome to maintain, and most girls would not keep their hair so long.
Luoluo thought that it might be because Venus was a very important figure in the church, so her life was similar to that of an aristocratic lady. With the help of a servant, she would not be troubled by this kind of matter.
"It's really pretty hair..."
And Venus's skin was also very delicate, although her body that was still developing was just as regrettable as her own.
Venus grabbed Venus's soft little hand and squeezed it a few times.
"Venus, have you never done housework or other work? Your hands are so soft."
Loulou sighed and washed away all the foam on Venus's long hair with water.
"No, when I lived in the orphanage, I often helped the dean take care of the fields... I am also very capable..."
Venus shook her long wet hair, swept the bangs that had soaked with water and hung in front of her forehead to one side, stood up, and walked behind Loulou.
"Now I will help you wash..."
"Mhm, thank you."
Loulou smiled quietly, enjoying this happy time.
As if she had returned to the past when her mother washed her hair when she was still a child.
