Leah was sitting at the end of a rock, quietly looking at the bright moon in the night sky.
"You're here." The footsteps of the three people walking on the gravel were very obvious in such an empty field. "I originally thought Venus would persuade you to give up."
"Venus did tell us the risk of fighting with you, but if we just run away like this, you will be disappointed, right?"
Leah didn't expect Aker's instincts to be so keen. He actually had already guessed her intention to make this request.
If the person protecting Venus was strong enough, then Venus would be safe even if she stayed with them. But when she saw Aker and his group in the pub last night, she was a little disappointed.
Aker had magical powers that were different from ordinary people around him, which may be caused by special magical tools. But even this was not concealed from her, indicating that his own magical qualities were far from being good.
Although it was said that the owner of the "Light Flame Sword" was as strong as her, and Venus's strength was self-evident, only with the two of them, Leah was confident that she would be able to defeat them.
"I hope you can think about it again for a while. It will be better if you give up." Leah leaped lightly from the tall rock, "Also, why is Venus here as well?"
"I also want to... tell Leah..."
"Is it……"
Venus only said so, but Leah knew her thoughts immediately.
A cool breeze blowing past, her long silver-white hair, which was as beautiful as Venus, fluttered in the wind.
This battle was inevitable, and everyone present knew it very well.
"Then, let's get started."
As the calm words fell, the silver-white figure disappeared from the place.
The dark blue dress made Leah's figure blend into the night perfectly, with only the long silver hair shining in the moonlight.
Leah's magic power formed a frozen spear that reflected moonlight in her hand, and there was no extra movement when she stabbed it at Lynn.
Although Lynn was caught off guard by Leah's flashing figure, her excellent reflexes helped her avoid the direct attack. Lynn lowered her body and rolled on the ground a few times, avoiding the long spear stabbed by Leah, and two shining golden swords appeared in her hand to block the second attack that followed.
"How... how is she so fast..."
Lynn was forced to retreat by Leah's stormy attacks, she was barely able to block her attack with two swords. At the beginning of the battle, she did not expect that Leah would give up her best elemental magic, and instead resorted to close combat.
Lynn was wrong. The frozen spear that threatened Lynn's life was a product of elemental magic. That ice-condensed spear had the toughness of a light flame sword that cut iron like mud, and even the coldness that slowed the body reaction was passed along the blade to Lynn's hand at the moment it passed the blade.
"Lynn, watch out!"
The silver-white magic power turned into a bullet and flicked across Lynn's face, who had just dodged Leah's attack. At this time, Leah hadn't pulled back the long spear. So it must be very difficult to dodge this bullet.
But she had no intention of pulling back the freezing spear at all. Instead, two rotating fireballs appeared around her, heading to the bullet fired by Aker.
Two different magical powers rolled up a violent magical explosion in the air, and the violent wind that rolled up between the two made Lynn and Leah separate.
Lynn took advantage of the moment when Leah's attack speed was affected by the gust of wind, and poured magic power into the two swords. The golden magical power flowed over the entire blade along the delicate lines of the blade, bursting out with dazzling golden light and the might of huge magical power, Lynn's heels slammed on the ground and approached Leah.
Leah, who hadn't regained her footing, could only raise the frozen spear to resist in a hurry, but was cut off by the Light Flame Sword without suspense.
Leah successively unleashed the barrage constructed by the fire element and slowed down Lynn's footsteps, gradually becoming anxious in her heart.
The power that Aker had just revealed was not weak, which did not match her initial impression of him.
Leah glimpsed at Aker who was standing not far away from the corner of her eye. When she saw the two silver-white pistols in his hands, she had already roughly thought of the reason.
——Even if the magic weapon he was using was not a magic gear, it was a magic tool that could rival a magic gear. Having weapons of this level.
——It seemed that it was not only the daughter of the "Heinz" family, but he was also someone who she should not underestimate.
"It seems that this fight won't be finished as quickly as I imagined..."
While Leah was alert to Lynn and Aker, who were ready to attack for the next round from both sides, she quickly felt the surrounding atmosphere. From the beginning of the battle, Venus's figure disappeared from the battlefield, and Aker and Lynn's attacks did not give Leah time to find Venus.
But the facts did not go as she had hoped, and the special magic power that Venus was familiar with was not felt around her.
"What happened?"
Aker didn't give Leah time to continue searching for Venus. He raised two guns, the bullets with overwhelming magic power turned into a barrage of bullets and Leah was the target.
Leah didn't move to dodge it. The tip of the ice spear was pointed to the ground, and a three-story high ice wall rose from the ground, blocking all Aker's bullets.

But this was of course not Aker's final attack, it was just to force Leah to take a defensive position.
"Ammunition switching - Penetration!"
Pupils of Blazing Flames had been connected to Aker through the silky threads-like magical energy. After changing the magic structure in his consciousness, Aker pulled the trigger again, and the arrow-shaped magic energy that was different from the pure magic bullet was shot from the muzzle and turned into a silver light, penetrating through the ice wall.
The speed of the magic arrow did not slow down, and after penetrating the ice wall, it shot straight towards Leah.
Leah did not expect that Aker's bullet would be given different attributes as the magic structure changed. She just took a defensive position and could not immediately rebuild her defensive barrier, and could only move her body to dodge the arrow.
The silver-white magic arrow flew past her, scratching the ends of the flying silver-white hair.
Lynn did not miss the moment when Leah's defense was weakened, the scarlet gold blade followed the magic arrow closely.
Leah, who was being constantly chased, moved her petite body quickly to dodge the consecutive attacks. She was unable to counterattack for a while. For her, losing her focus was a fatal mistake.
Leah didn't actually have much actual combat experience. Although her theoretical knowledge and skill were better than Aker and Lynn, there was no difference between them based on experience alone.
After her pace was disrupted, she immediately fell into a passive state, and she couldn't find an opportunity in Lynn's attacks to counterattack.
At this moment, Leah's mind was no longer calm. Not only because of falling into a disadvantageous position in the battle, but also because it had been a while since the battle started, but she was still unable to locate Venus, she couldn't even sense her magic energy.
As long as Venus had enough time to construct a domain, she would definitely lose. Therefore, the first task was not to defeat Aker or Lynn, but she couldn't do that in a short time. Leah knew that she had to find Venus who was hiding somewhere.
"Don't look around during the battle! Do you think that we alone cannot be your opponent?"
Lynn's attack was once again dodged by Leah, but it was obvious that she did not intend to fight Lynn.
A flame of rage emerged within Lynn, who thought she was being despised by the other party.
Leah was attracted by Lynn's words. She squinted her eyes.
"You have misunderstood it. Because you are an unexpectedly powerful enemy, I must take this battle seriously." Several black and white pure magic balls appeared around Leah's body, "I'm sorry, it seems that you are trying to hide Venus. In that case, I can only defeat you one by one, and then look for her."
As soon as the voice fell, the pure magic balls of the two colors blended into each other, turning into a mass of black and white energy.
Aker, who had never taken action because he was worried about hurting Lynn by mistake, noticed the abnormal changes around Leah, and quickly reminded her loudly.
"Lynn, leave her side immediately!"
As soon as Aker's voice fell, dozens of energy balls surrounded them at the same time and released the energy in them, and the violent energy that broke through the cage even engulfed Leah herself.
Aker rushed over immediately, but because the fluctuations generated by the magic burst disrupted his own magic flow, he couldn't get too close.
The flame light gradually dissipated, revealing Lynn who had fallen to the ground unconsciously, and Leah who was holding a frozen ice spear, standing proudly while looking at Aker.
Aker felt a bit of helplessness. It might not be her original purpose to make Lynn fall unconscious.
Just when Aker wanted to talk to Leah, and the tip of the spear reflecting the moonlight was already in front of him.
The silver-white magic energy formed two short blades on the muzzles of the two pistols, and Aker knocked away the rapidly approaching tip of the spear in the nick of time.
"She can no longer fight, so you should surrender. It's good for both you and me."
"Then you can try to make me surrender."
Aker's fighting spirit was aroused by Leah's words. The silver-white double blades retracted from the muzzles, like a hunting viper, ready to attack Leah's weakness at any time.
Aker knew that Leah wanted to end the fight quickly, but his goal was the buy time. As long as he bought enough time for Venus, his task would be completed.
Now he had a preliminary understanding of Leah's strength. She was really worthy of being one of the only eight blue knights in the church. If he fought one-on-one with her, Aker knew that he would have no chance of winning.
However, he was not alone in the fight.
Aker deactivated the short blade. The dark muzzles exuded the breath of death was pointed directly at the silver-haired girl who stood proudly.
"I... No, we will never give up until the last moment!"
He also made a declaration of fighting again in front of Leah, neither humble nor arrogant.
"……then I am looking forward to the moment you surrender yourself."
The moment this sentence fell, the two moved at the same time.

Not knowing how long Aker and the others would stop fighting, the pub was temporarily closed.
Now only Gurley was drinking as usual in the pub hall.
"Are you not worried?"
Nia, who was across from the bar counter, held her chin and looked at Gurley. Her tone was not as sharp as she usually talked to Gurley.
Gurley put the glass down.
"It's useless to worry, right? This is the battle of those kids. There is no need for me to intervene."
"You are right, let them handle it by themselves... If that young man wins, he can feel at ease for a while."
“……”
Seeing that Gurley didn't intend to say anything, Nia continued to hold her chin and look through the window to the bright moon hanging in the night sky.
"Unexpectedly, you would give up a profitable evening because you are worried about them."
Gurley said something abruptly that didn't fit the current depressive atmosphere.
"No one will take you as a dumb if you don't speak!"
"You still haven't changed at all. When we first met..."
"You think you know me well?"
"When I first came here, I had a feeling when I saw you. Now that I meet those little kids again, I always feel that it is my destiny to know such interesting people."
Gurley ignored Nia's protest and went on.
"If you think I'm bothering you, just pack up your stuff and leave, and no one begs you to stay here."
"No need to pay back? This is really great! I'm going to pack my luggage now, goodbye!"
"Get back here!"
Although there was no hustle and bustle of the normal days, the pub tonight was still full of cheerful atmosphere.
Suddenly, Gurley frowned, and Nia naturally noticed the change in his expression.
Gurley, who had always been calm, actually had this kind of reaction now...
"Did something happen?"
"... nothing."
Gurley picked up the glass again and swirled it in front of him.
The ice cubes collided in the glass with a crisp sound.
He put down the wine glass again and got up from his seat.
"I'll need to trouble you to get that boy's little sister from upstairs. By the way, help her prepare something..."
Nia didn't know what Gurley had seen, but she still did as he asked.
…………
The battle in the wasteland was still going on.
In the last two weeks, with the help of Lynn and Venus, Aker had made obvious progress in controlling the magic energy and magic gear.
At that time, Gurley told him this.
"It is the feeling of wanting to understand it when you first came into contact with the magic gear, trying to establish a spiritual communication with the magic gear, and treating the magic gear as a human being like us. "
At that time, Aker couldn't understand this sentence. But in the process of learning more about Pupils of Blazing Flames, he gradually grasped the core of this sentence.
"Ammunition switching - Shower!"
Aker controlled the transformation of magic energy in pupils of blazing flames. He raised the guns to aim at the sky and then pulled the trigger.
Like a mysterious coat of arms, the silver-white magic circle expanded above Leah's head. This kind of magic circle would appear when Aker used the magic of Pupils of Blazing Flames, and the magic circle that appeared when Lynn used the light flame sword was also the inherent magic of the magic gear.
Countless silver needles burst out from the magic circle, pouring down towards the place where Leah was standing.
Leah raised her hand instinctively, and quickly constructed a crystal clear hemispherical ice shield on top of her head. A dense shower of magic power hit the ice surface. The ice shield that even the Light Flame Sword had to hit with all its strength to break it began to have cracks.
Realizing that the shield would not last long, Leah immediately jumped back. In an instant, the place where she had just stood was bombarded by the magic shower.
Before Leah could stand firm, a murderous aura came from behind.
Even though she had unleashed the magical barrier, most of the power of the attack from the back was canceled out. But after all, the barrier was cast out in a hurry, the temporarily constructed magical barrier was quickly shattered, and the magical power that struck from behind slammed into Leah.
"Cough!"
Even if it was Leah, she still spat out a mouthful of blood under the attack of this level.
The magical impact just now made her right shoulder bleed. With this degree of injury, she should no longer be able to wave the frozen spear fast.
Lynn, panting, was standing in the distance with the radiant long sword in her hand.
She, who had just woken up, caught Leah who had revealed a weakness in Aker's attack, and immediately took a surprise attack regardless of her physical condition. Although she still hadn't mastered her magic power and Leah discovered her attack in advance,
if it could still cause damage to Leah, it would prove that it was not completely useless.
"I'm sorry, Venus. It's impossible not to hurt her..."
Only when no one could hear her apology, was she able to utter the apology.
Her hands holding the long sword could not stop shaking. This was the first time she consciously injured other people since she first held the handle of the sword.
——Don’t be afraid... take revenge... don’t be afraid...
She continued to encourage herself in her heart, but hurting others brought a greater psychological shadow than she thought.
