"Should we make a move?"
She whispered.
"No, wait. Without knowing the identity, location, and purpose of the other party, making a move will only alert the other party..."
Although it was the original word that Aker's Dad warned before he left home, it was now the knowledge he had mastered.
He quietly summoned the silver-white double pistols known as "Pupils of Blazing Flames", and his index finger had already pressed on the trigger.
"Aker, are the two pistols you used before just magic tools?"
"Magic tool? Probably."
"How powerful are they? I remember you just said that you have no magic talent or something, and you can't perceive magic power, but that kind of power is obviously not something people without magic talent can use, right?"
"I don't know, but I can use them if I want."
Aker really couldn't explain clearly the feeling of using these two pistols to perform magic in a few words. Compared with the so-called magic talent, it was more like he knew it automatically that could use such magic when he held the handle of the pistols.
"..." Lynn squinted her eyes suspiciously, and moved her gaze from Aker's face to the silver-white pistols in his hands. "Is this Magic Gear?"
"Magic Gear?"
Lynn coldly said a word that Aker had never heard of before, and he asked back.
"...Nothing. It's probably not."
Seeing the confused expression of Aker, Lynn's tone seemed to ease.
Lynn waved her hand, and the looming golden particles suddenly appeared beside her.
Aker cautiously touched the firefly-like golden particles with his fingers. Instantly, there was a tingling pain from the fingertips.
"Don't touch it casually, you will break your finger."
"Are you serious..."
Although Aker was suspicious, Lynn's emotionless voice forced him to believe it.
…………
All three were ready to enter the battle at any time.
But after a long time, nothing happened.
Except for the clicking noises of insects and gurgling water, there were no other unusual sounds around.
After a while, Loulou spoke again.
"The feeling of being watched has disappeared..."
"Mhm, I also feel that the surrounding atmosphere is not as tense as before."
Aker turned around and smiled softly at Loulou. Probably Loulou also realized that she had made a mistake in her judgment this time, but Aker didn't want her to blame herself for this kind of thing.
"Um..." Lynn watched Aker's doting on Loulou from the side, and seemed to groan in envy, "Is it safe now?"
"I'm sorry..." No one blamed Loulou, so when she suddenly apologized to the two with a voice that was about to cry, she frightened them, "I've made a mistake and caused everyone to be so nervous..."
"There is no need to apologize for this kind of thing. If there is no danger, then we are lucky. But if there is really a danger, then we should thank you. "
Lynn walked to Loulou and stroked her head gently.
"This differential treatment is too obvious, alright."
Aker looked at this warm picture and muttered bitterly.
"What did you say?!"
"No...nothing..."
Lynn looked at Aker with a cold smile on her face, which made Aker feel a chill in his back.
…………
"Elder Brother, Elder sister Lynn, I'm sorry...I really can't walk anymore..."
Loulou hugged Aker's neck, lying on his back, and murmured an apology feebly.
They didn't know how long they had walked continuously, the surrounding plants have changed from bright and colorful flowers to low green bushes.
Not to mention Loulou, who was weak in physique, even Lynn, who was physically strong, couldn't bear with it.
With Loulou on his back, Aker naturally consumed a lot of energy.
"Although I don't know the time now, we have been walking for so long, it should be time for lunch."
Aker put Loulou on the ground and looked around.
There were no more fish in the upstream stream, and the choice of grilled fish was first discarded.
Although there were various fruits on the surrounding plants, they did not know if they were poisonous. Regardless of its ugly appearance or colorful look, most of this wild plant had the magical effects of creating a wonderful world in people's brains, when they were eaten.
"How about having a barbecue for lunch today?"
Lynn suddenly gave an unexpected suggestion.
"Are you still daydreaming?"
"I'm serious! Look over there."
Following Lynn's finger, two groups of fiery red things were moving in a low bush.
"Is that Fire Wolf?" Aker asked Loulou in a low voice, "Could it be them that were watching us earlier?"
"Probably. There were too many colorful plants downstream, and now the surroundings are all green, it is difficult for them to hide. So they've followed us this far..."
Loulou did not appear to be nervous, but she still had concerns.
"But compared to the invisible threat, the visible one is more reassuring."
Aker took out the pistols. The two fire wolves glanced at the three in the bushes, and then quickly retreated.
"They want to run? Aker, let's follow them."
Lynn immediately chased up, and Aker followed closely behind.
"You two, wait for me!"
Seeing Aker and Lynn were running further and further, Loulou had no choice but to follow them.
