Lynn didn't put the hood of the dark robe on her head anymore, but slightly tied her long blond hair with a simple headband.
"I wanted to ask before, why do you have to wear this robe that will restrain your movement? Could it be because you have a gloomy personality, or some special physique like you will turn into ashes when you see the light?"
Aker looked at Lynn and couldn't help but jokingly say.
"Eh? How do you know?"
Lynn pretended to be surprised.
“……”
"Elder Sister Lynn is a vampire? It's amazing, I haven't noticed..."
Only Loulou did not figure out the situation.
"Actually, it is for other reasons. It is not convenient to explain now, I will tell you in the future when necessary. Besides, isn't it a matter of personal preference to wear different kinds of clothes? At least my robe is much better than the matching couple outfits of the two of you."
"Couple...Couple outfits..."
Loulou's face suddenly turned red, and she lowered her head and crossed her fingers.
"It's not couple outfits. It's just that Dad made us wear this way when we left home, and only the color is the same." Aker looked at his white trench coat and Loulou's white dress, "Actually, your robe looks very big, so after you put it on, no one will be able to know how fat you are..."
Before Aker could finish, Lynn stepped on his feet to stop him.
…………
The three of them walked in the forest in silence. Lynn walked at the front, and Aker walked at the back.
According to Lynn, they were already very close to the forest exit. As long as they followed her feelings, they would be able to leave this place soon.
"Speaking of which, what kind of feeling is it? Wind direction or smell?"
"Intuition."
Lynn ended the conversation with one simple word.
Silence fell between the three of them again.
Loulou looked at the two people back and forth very awkwardly and finally sighed in her heart that her elder brother didn't understand a girl's mind.
…………
When they came to the bank of the creek that was of special significance to the three of them, Loulou broke the silence curiously.
"Are we going to the other side?"
"No, we have to go upstream along this creek. The water here has magical fluctuations, although it is very weak. It means that the upstream must be close to places such as towns."
"So, can you feel the magic fluctuations? In my opinion, it is just ordinary water."
"I can also feel a little bit too, elder brother..."
Loulou interjected in embarrassment.
"...So, I alone can't feel anything? Although I indeed don't have any talent for learning magic, it seems that even my perception is lower than average? Has God abandoned me?"
"God must know someone doesn't deserve it."
Lynn casually added salt to Aker's injury. And Loulou could only helplessly give a wry smile.
"But what is certain is that there must be creatures that rely on magic to survive upstream, and it is not certain that it must be a human town, right? It may also be magic beasts' caves."
"It was indeed possible... But, in such a small forest on the border of the empire, would there really be powerful beasts that would leak magic power. So, it can only be human settlements like towns."
Lynn looked around disapprovingly, her long hair drew a beautiful golden trail in the air.
"You are right. Anyway, we are still going to follow you." Aker shrugged, people who couldn't perceive the fluctuation of magic power had no right to complain, "Speaking of which, Loulou, what are you looking at? You seem to be very nervous."
Loulou was shaking her long sky blue hair, looking around.
"Mhm... I always feel as if something is staring at us all the time, which is very uncomfortable..."
“……”
This sentence made Loulou become vigilant. He knew that Loulou would not say unfounded words.
