Game club.
"Classmate Tianzhong, if you can't get any HAPPY ENDING this week, you will really be kicked out of the club! Hey, did you hear me?"
As soon as I entered the room, I heard Minghai's criticising voice.
"I know, I will work hard..."
——And the listless response of classmate Tianzhong.
——This was clearly a problem… Forcibly letting them play games they didn't like, it would be strange if they would become enthusiastic about it.
However, I had an idea about what to do.
I started "Gazing at the Stars"- The progress was: Zhenli had already dated with Sen and was quickly dumped by him, and childhood sweethearts Hexi was coming to this city to meet Zhenli.
[Zhenli:……]
[Hexi:...]
In the end, Hexi broke the silence first.
[Hexi:...Why are you leaving? 】
[Zhenli: ...becoming an idol has been my dream since I was young. In that kind of small city, I can never become an idol. 】
[Hexi: But we clearly agreed to come to school in this city together after graduation...]
[Zhenli: At that age, it will be too late for me to become an idol... If I don't work hard now, in the future... In the future, I can only be an ordinary housewife at home and be supported by Hexi! That's not the life I want! 】
Alas, what a cruel reality...
"...Well, I heard that the former club president is back."
"It's the senior who is in the same class as Minghai Lily...?"
"Yes, She seemed to have abandoned this club. Do you know why?"
"Ah, probably just like us. Who would be really interested in playing those games..."
"It’s not that I want to complain or anything, but since I started to play those strange games, I can no longer enjoy my meals..."
The two people who talked like this were naturally Tianzhong who was in charge of playing trap games, and Benduo who was in charge of playing other strange games.
Classmate Benduo seemed to know a lot about this club, so I tried to ask him.
"Classmate Benduo, who is the former president of this club?"
"Although I don’t like to admit it, he is a cheerful and handsome senior. He and Minghai Lily are classmates, and they have created a game club together."
"Oh, what happened then?"
"Later... I don't know what happened. The former president 'suddenly' transferred and left one day. It was really sudden, and even the president didn't know what happened... She had a gloomy face for half a month. "
"Gloomy face? It's hard to imagine our president having that kind of face..."
"What are you talking about?"
Minghai Lily, who had been absent from the club for a while, suddenly opened the door and entered.
"No, nothing!"
Benduo was so frightened that he could not hold the console firmly and almost fell to the ground.
"Come one, guys... if this goes on, we will definitely be overtaken by other game clubs..."
Fortunately, Minghai did not really want to know what we were talking about. She was more concerned about the progress of the game.
"Classmate Tianzhong, what is today's progress?"
"Although, although there is no progress today, it will definitely be completed this week!"
"...What about you, classmate Bendo?"
"I... I have already gotten to the chapter of the human hair suspension bridge... It's only three chapters from the final chapter."
"What about Classmate Gaocheng?"
"Chapter 2, I can easily complete this by Friday."
"Oh? Really!"
She leaned close to the screen.
"Not bad, Classmate Gaocheng! Hey, Classmate Tianzhong, even Classmate Gaocheng who joined the club later than you has surpassed you? Did you really try your best?"
"I... Of course I did!"
Classmate Tianzhong argued, feeling that he had been wronged, but it was really unconvincing.
"Yes, I have also seen Classmate Tianzhong trying very hard every day."
Classmate Benduo also began to defend Tianzhong.
"You too, Classmate Bendo, you have just finished the first chapter, you are not qualified to speak!"
The club president in full reprimanding mode was extremely scary, just like a strict mother...
【Ninth Day】
In the game club.
[Zhenli: Ah! 】
Zhenli woke up from the dream.
[Zhenli: Hexi appeared in my dream, is it because I still have feelings for him in my heart? 】
[Zhenli: After all, we have known each other for 10 years and have been in love with each other for 3 years. It is impossible to have no feelings...]
[Zhenli: I want to forget this, but I can't calm down...Should I go to Hexi? 】
【Yes】or 【No】
I selected the option "Yes".
Zhenli picked up the phone and sent a text message to Hexi.
[Zhenli: What doI do if Hexi doesn't want to see me... No, although he told me to forget each other from now on, he must be like me…. He still has a feeling for me... 】
After a while, a new text message appeared on Zhenli’s phone.
[Hexi: See you in the central square at 1 o'clock in the afternoon. 】
Zhenli happily lay down on the bed and rolled.
[Zhenli: Wow! Great! Hexi would like to see me! ... Calm down, which dress should I wear to see him...]
I yawned. This kind of plot was simply boring. I could finally understand the feelings of the other members. I hoped it would end soon.
"Um, Classmate Gaocheng, the club president went out again?"
Classmate Tianzhong quietly approached me.
I looked around the classroom for a while, and indeed did not see Minghai Lily. It seemed that it was the turning point of the plot again.
"It must be because of the former club president. I mean classmate Gaocheng, don't you want to see it?"
"Can I?"
"Only you are valued by the club president the most. If we go, I'm afraid the president will scold us..."
I left the room and walked directly to a remote corner of the playground.
There was a waist-high flower bed here, and Minghai was on the other side of the flower bed, talking with a man.
Although wearing everyday clothes, it should be a high school Classmate based on age.
I walked quietly and hid behind a tree.
"...Don't come to me again."
This was the voice of Minghai Lily.
"Are you still unwilling to forgive me?"
The young man asked her anxiously.
"The betrayer is not qualified to say this!"
"I may not be able to argue that, but there is a reason for that..."
"No matter how you explained, you asked for the transfer yourself, right?"
"I just think that there will be a better future..."
"Don't say it, I'm tired of hearing your words..."
Minghai's voice gradually lowered.
"Calm down first. I'll come to you tomorrow again."
After the man left, I walked out from behind the tree.
"Classmate Gaocheng?"
Minghai was shocked when she saw me.
"I didn't mean to eavesdrop..."
This kind of eavesdropping plot was too deliberate, as long as I stopped behind the flower bed, they would not be able to find me.
"...After the activity is over, accompany me for a cup of coffee."
She looked tired.
"Okay."
The coffee shop was not far from the school, just two blocks away. Further away would be the commercial district and the theater where Shuiyuan Weina performed.
Of course the town itself was not big, so no matter where I needed to go, it would not take me to get there.
"Two lattes, thank you."
Minghai Lily said that she would pay for it, so I ordered the same coffee as her.
The decoration of the coffee shop was full of modern and simple style. The part facing the street was made of glass walls, and I could see the scene of people coming and going outside.
There was a small chandelier above each table in the store. This ambiguous brightness was just suitable for couples or friends to communicate in a low voice.
"You heard everything?."
She took a sip of coffee.
"Who is that?"
"As you can probably tell, he is the former president and founder of the gaming club."
"The founder..."
"In fact, we used to be close neighbors and classmates. He brought me into the gaming community, and we founded this club together, but one day he left without saying goodbye. I called him to find out that he had already gone through all the procedures necessary to transfer a school. He transferred to a private school in a nearby city and joined a larger game club there..."
"How could he do this!"
"I will not forgive it! It's a betrayal to the club and to me! So I swear that I must rely on my own strength to manage the club and surpass him!"
"Then why is he coming back this time?"
"... In order to persuade me to transfer to that school, he said that there is no future in staying here, and this club is just like a child playing around."
She covered her forehead with her hand.
"You are the president of the game club. If you leave this club, the club will completely disappear!"
"I won't agree, but he has been trying to change my mind every day recently... It's really annoying. Classmate Gaocheng really loves games, so I will tell you these things."
"If you have any troubles, please tell everyone, everyone in the club will do their best to help you."
"Everyone...but I know that Classmate Tianzhong doesn't love games, even if this club disappears, it won’t matter to him."
"But they stay there for you, Club President, as long as you ask them, they will probably do anything for you."
They were her fans, after all, right?
"...Although I often boast that I am a beautiful girl, I know that I am not unique. Even if I am not in this club or even in this school, Classmate Tianzhong will find a new target."
"Don't be so pessimistic about it, club president, this is not like you at all. Don’t you want to manage the club well and make it better than other clubs?"
"I have been trying to, but maybe it is really because of my limited ability. I am about to give up..."
I shook my head.
"No, club president, it's not because that your abilities are limited. I think the problem is that everyone is not enthusiastic about the game enough, right?"
It seemed that the main line had appeared... Gradually, I found that I could grasp key events of the game without needing to look at the strategy online. Sure enough, practice makes perfect.
"Eh? What you said makes sense, but I can't change them, can I?"
"No, I think you can, first of all..."
I talked about my thoughts in detail.
The plan was very simple, it was to find a way to understand the type of games they liked. For example, Classmate Tianzhong must like the cute and Moe type of game, and Classmate Benduo seemed to like strategy.
The club president did not understand their preferences, so the assigned tasks were messy.
As for understanding their hobbies, I would handle it...
【Eleventh Day】
It was still the game club.
I gathered the questionnaire sent down yesterday (that was, the tenth day). This was a test questionnaire that I found on the Internet, which contained many classic test questions related to preferences, which could be used to test the type of game that a person liked.
After summarizing the preference type, I gave it to Minghai ——
"Oh? Classmate Gangtian likes sci-fi shooting, and Classmate Zhongcun likes magical RPGs?"
The following was the content of [Game Club Member Hobby Survey Form]:
Classmate Tianzhong: Dating Sim
Classmate Benduo: Strategy Game
Classmate Gangtian: Sci-fi RPG and shooting games
Classmate Zhongcun: Mmorpg
Classmate Xiaozaochuan: Sandbox construction and simulation business games
Classmate Zhengongsi: Stealth games
...
Everyone’s preferences were so different...
Her cell phone rang suddenly. It was a reminder of a text message.
"Ah, something just came up, I need to leave for a while."
"Wait, read the questionnaire before leaving..."
There were still important contents on it that I haven't shown her...
I picked up the stack of questionnaires and chased it out, only to hear Minghai Lily standing at the corner of the corridor talking to someone.
I slowed down and approached slowly.
"Lily, can't you just listen to me once?"
This voice... was the former president!
"I don't need your advice!"
Minghai's attitude was very determined.
"The school opened up transfer places. I thought of you the first time. With your family background transferring is not a problem at all. Why do you want to stay in this small place?"
"Because I will not betray the club like you, betray the friends who trust me."
"They will forget these soon..."
"Only you will soon forget, right? I will never forget that you left without saying goodbye."
"You love games, but that doesn't mean that other people in this club love games."
Although the former president has been away for more than half a year, he still seemed to be very clear about the situation here.
"I have been following your forum account. There are 10 people in this club, but the speed at which you publish the strategy is no different from 2 people..."
"..."
Minghai Lily had nothing to say about this.
"But you will know what a real game club should be like when you transfer to the school I said! You can play some female-oriented dating games, and that type will definitely suit you..."
I nodded secretly, with Minghai’s game talent, she was indeed only suitable for this type of game...
But this person was too blunt, even I would not be happy if I heard that.
"Listen well, I don't want to hear you insult my game club, and I don't want you to point fingers at my interest."
Sure enough, Minghai's temper became even more fierce.
"I know you will be angry when you hear this, but I will need to go back tomorrow... so I must persuade you to leave today. Let me ask you, the members of this club, do they really stay there because they love games? "
"They……"
Oh no, the president club had fallen into a great disadvantage in this argument!
