"Damn it!"
Although I was used to her sudden change of emotion, today she looked like she wanted to hit someone...
Alas, being too emotional was not a good thing sometimes.
"She was treated like this, but she still had feelings for that scumbag?!"
Because the heroine of this game was not normal at all. She wouldn’t listen to you even if she said that...
Speaking of which, what I cared more about was that I even finished reading the magazine.
"Let's go, class time is up..."
I put down the magazine.
"No, I haven't apologized to Hexi..."
According to her playing speed, it would take about a month to clear this game… But she was already this much into the game?
"Let's go, there is still a chance tomorrow... it's really late."
"Ok……"
She turned off the game console reluctantly.
"Actually, after I went back yesterday, my mind was full of game plots... I was reprimanded by my mother for being distracted while practicing singing..."
She was talking and walking out of the game club with me——
“EEE——P? Gaocheng Yuan?!”
This voice—I suddenly had a headache.
Yes, this loud voice was Bantian Yuaner.
He probably happened to pass by here, and now pointed to both of us in shock.
"What's wrong, Classmate Bantian?"
"You, you, you! Even walking with girls?!"
"Is it weird for me to walk with girls?"
...Actually I could understand how he felt.
He probably thought that I was someone like him who was disliked by girls. But now, I was with a beautiful girl. This kind of shock could not be described easily.
"Impossible! This is a blatant betrayal! You promised me that we will be angels with broken wings together!"
Who promised you that!?
"I can’t believe that……"
He covered his face.
"...Wait! This girl looks familiar!"
Not good!
He got close to Shuiyuan Weina, scaring her into taking a step back nervously. She still didn’t know what was going on.
"Hey, don't be so close to a girl, okay..."
I quickly blocked his leaning body...
"She looks like Shuiyuan..."
I quickly covered his mouth before he announced the world with his loud voice.
"You are wrong, she is my cousin, Gaocheng Nana."
"Uh! What, is it the cousin of Classmate Gaocheng?"
"Yes, I just discovered that my cousin also studies this school today."
As long as the person in front of me was normal, he would not believe in this kind of lie. However, the fact that this guy was an idiot helped me.
"Oh oh oh, Classmate Gaocheng has such a cousin, why didn't you tell me earlier? It's really interesting!"
"I just told you that I only found out about it today, otherwise I would’ve definitely introduced her to you."
I just wanted to send him away quickly.
"Ptff……"
Shuiyuan Weina actually laughed!
"Hello, Classmate Gaocheng. Nice to meet you, I am Gaocheng Yuan's classmate, my name is Bantian Yuaner. I hope we can meet and play together often in the future, and if it is convenient, can I have your number as well..."
He stood up straight and ran his hand through his hair...
"Okay, I will call you if she wants to play. So there is no need to leave the nber."
I answered him on behalf of Shuiyuan Weina who was hesitant. This guy, it was because of such reckless behavior that he wasn’t liked by girls. Did he not know that?
"Um, Nana, it's time to go to class. You can go first."
At the same time, I winked at Shuiyuan Weinan, who was standing still.
"Ah...Okay! I'm going to class now, thank you elder brother!"
She finally reacted, bowed to me, then turned and walked away...
Elder... Brother...?
This time it was my turn to stand still in shock.
To be honest, I had never encountered Bantian Yuaner in the previous game play.
Was this a so-called ‘random event?’
But thanks to this unexpected incident, I also heard a name that I had never heard before…
What is going on, what is this strange mysterious satisfaction in my heart… I am not siscon!
"Classmate Gaocheng, that was your lie, right? The reason why you disappear at noon every day is to stay with her, right?"
As soon as Shuiyuan left, this guy changed his foolish expression, and instantly looked shrewd like a businessman.
"... She is indeed my cousin."
I couldn’t let this guy find out the real identity of her, otherwise, this guy would let the whole school know about it.
"But it doesn't matter. I won't tell Classmate Yuchuan about you staying with her at noon."
"What does this have to do with Classmate Yuchuan?"
"Huh? Isn't the relationship between you and Classmate Yuchuan also in the budding stage?"
The use of this "also" was quite intriguing, and I couldn't understand it for a while.
"Classmate Yuchuan and I are just friends, please don’t misunderstand it."
"I advise you not to deceive yourself. Anyone with a discerning eye can see that the relationship between you is unusual… it is like there is always a pink bubble surrounding you two."
His hand was on my shoulder, and he was talking like a relationship adviser.
"You can think however you like, but don’t go and tell everyone about it."
I didn’t want to talk to this big mouth anymore. The more I talked to him, the more frustrated I would feel.
When we returned to class, Ying previewed the afternoon's class in her seat.
"Classmate Gaocheng, you are back~"
She greeted me with a smile. I didn’t know why the words of Bantian Yuaner suddenly popped in my head.
Did the relationship between Ying and I really look like a pink bubble to others? But at the moment I was obviously not trying to conquer her at the moment...
" Classmate Yuchuan, do you have any problems with your studies?"
"No, everything is fine..."
She shook her head.
I didn’t know what I topics I could talk to her—
"It's just that there are some math problems I don’t understand... If Gaocheng is willing to teach me..."
Little angel Ying was really considere!
"So, what's the problem..."
Although I didn’t listen to the class, I could understand the high school level questions carefully by looking at it.
She opened the book and found the questions that she didn’t know...
"This is what I am talking about!"
This voice suddenly sounded--
"Bantian Yuaner, what’s wrong?"
"Classmate Gaocheng, this is the kind of atmosphere I told you about! No one can get into your bubble!"
He was talking about the pink bubble again, right? But why did this guy have to come to disrupt us at this time?
"Okay, I know now. So you can stop talking about it."
I interrupted him.
If I let him keep talking, who knows what kind of embarrassing things he would say next.
……
"Everyone, please sit down and we are going to start class."
The old-fashioned math teacher walked into the classroom, and even Bantian Yuaner had to go back to his seat and sit down.
Taking class meant that I could finally use [Time Jump]...
The scene in front of me changed rapidly, and in just a few seconds before, it was time to finish the school.
I stood up and left the classroom, but this time I was neither participating in club activities nor planning to go straight home.
I knew that there was an important story line about Shuiyuan Weina at the school gate.
"What's wrong with you, you have been absent-minded lately?"
It was a graceful and noble woman, standing in front of a luxury car. Her curly hair that has been carefully managed, and the perfume on her body showed how she paid attention to the details of life.
What she said to a female high school student in school uniform with a patronizing expression--
The so-called female high school student, of course, was Shuiyuan Weina, and the noble-dressed woman was her mother.
“……”
Shuiyuan Weina just quietly bowed her head and listened without saying a word.
"You were distracted by the cooking again, right? I told you not to prepare the meal by yourself anymore. You have to prepare for the concert."
"!……Yes."
Shuiyuan Weina seemed to want to say something for a moment, but after shivering slightly, she listened to his mother's words again.
...But I knew that cooking was her 'only interest'. Even such a thing was not allowed, this was clearly over the top.
"Remember, I have done so much to make you a star. You don't need to spend too much time on homework and exams. Learning is useless for your future anyway... I've talked to your head teacher about studying, you just need to maintain sufficient attendance. Remember, don't let me down."
“……”
"Don't lower your head, what's your answer?"
The mother was very dissatisfied with her silence.
"...Yes, I won't let mother down."
Hearing her calm answer, Shuiyuan’s mother nodded and turned to sit in the driving seat.
What a harsh mother, Shuiyuan Weina’s strange character might be caused by her mother.
"Hey, look, isn't that Shuiyuan Weina in our class?"
"Yeah, it is her. I heard that She is still an idol. Why does she still want to come to school with such a bright future?"
"Huh! Clearly a celebrity, but she wants to pretend to study hard, who is she trying to show it to?”
The two girls passing by, commented loudly.
...It seemed that things were worse than I thought. I thought that Shuiyuan Weina just had no friends at school, but now it seemed that she was alienated by other people.
Such a thing was too unreasonable.
【The tenth day】
"Classmate Shuiyuan has a lot of things to do after going home, right?"
After eating the shrimp fried rice, I asked Shuiyuan Weina. First of all, it was necessary to understand her living conditions.
"Just because I'm preparing for a concert recently, so I will be a bit busier than usual..."
"Actually, I saw your mother come to pick you up yesterday."
"Really?! ... You heard everything my mother said?"
She looked at me cautiously.
"I heard some..."
"In that case..."
"Do you think everything she said is right?"
I asked her. Honestly speaking, I did not like the act of parents placing their hopes on their children. It was almost like a puppet of parents.
"Although I don't know if it's right, my mother said that everything she did was for my future..."
It turned out that no matter what year it was, parents would always be the same.
This problem was not unique to the game, it was everywhere in reality.
"What does Classmate Weiyuan want to do in the future?"
"I don't know... Mother said that I would be a star."
"Do you want to be a star?"
"……I do not know."
I couldn't help sighing.
This kind of dialogue has been conducted 10 times, but I haven't been able to get her real thoughts...
To be honest, if I didn’t need to clear her story line, I was not qualified to be a life mentor here. After all, I was a very casual person myself. I just played games at school every day and did things I was interested in. I rarely thought about the future...
"I don't have a specific goal, I can only listen to my mother's words. It's incomprehensible to Classmate Gaocheng, right?"
"I can't say that I can't understand it. Although my parents didn't plan my future, I really don't have any idea about my future..."
"So, you can only obey, right?"
She couldn't believe it.
"It's not like that. All your parents can give you are suggestions. You should decide what you should do."
"How can that be possible?"
She seemed to be in the middle of the two personalities of 'introverted' and 'emotional'.
"Classmate Shuiyuan, have you ever talked about the future with your mother? It's not just 'listening' but 'discussing'?"
“……”
It didn’t sound like she did.
"Classmate Shuiyuan... What I want to tell you is that your future should be decided by yourself!"
