🕑 Added 2024-06-02 18:48:38 +0000 UTCI've recently made the decision to start using Blender instead of Daz for my animations. It takes some time to learn but once I feel comfortable with it I am confident it's going to save me both time and frustration, and the scenes will look much better as well.
Q: But Lemon, your Daz animations are masterpieces, works of art, you truly are a miracle worker. Why do you feel the need to switch to another animation program?
A: Cause Daz is absolute trash and I can feel my mind deteriorating while using it. I think I've reached the limit of what I can create with Daz, this is an inevitable change that would've happened sooner or later.
Don't worry, it's not gonna take months to learn, I've already made significant progress with it. Thanks for your patience, stay classy

i never liked blender when i first started learning game dev a long long time ago but i heard that blender's gotten significantly better and less..ehm... crash-prone. You do what you wanna do, and hopefully you can document some of your pros and cons for each. As a fellow software engineer and former game dev, I'd like to gather that anecdotal data, and I'm hoping one day I can find free time to do my own game!

I think it's a good change. I'm not into anything design wise but obviously following avns and stuff have heard that blender is easy to use and the best to use
