Over the last month, we successfully reached our Milestone #2 goals and conducted a vote. We're currently working on the new vehicle designer system for GearCity: 2nd Gear. I've already completed the dynamic generation of the new UI based on information from the artwork. Serghey has started a sample vehicle model to verify the internals of the system work properly since this is a departure from how we handled components in the old artwork system. Once that is complete, we can finalize the art formats and UI systems standards. Then he'll work on the 15 Liftbacks using the new system while I work on AeroMogul.
In addition, I've knocked out several bugs in GearCity and 2nd Gear. Those improvements will come with the next update.
Currently, we're at $846.30 in milestone funding for Milestone #3. Milestone #3's goal is $2,000, and it will be open to any bounties within those funding limits. At our current funding rate, I expect we'll reach it in 3 months.
Work on AeroMogul slowed this week as I knocked out bugs in GearCity while waiting for the voting results, work on the new vehicle designer, and the recent Unity pricing debacle. The latter situation is now cleared and is no longer an issue. I expect to be giving AeroMogul full-time focus before Milestone #2's bounty is complete. So, I should have some AeroMogul news in the next update.
