My friend. To what a world tech so advance and shift perspective over the years. Going from cool to worse and worse combat. From worse and worse story. Back to back. Past, present, future. All revolving around a world controlling A.I. to never trusting machines. TO WATCH ALL OF THE MOVIES. And spend 30 minutes afterwards talking to a tree. A living breathing organism which may or may not have sentience. Which is and isn’t watching. Which does and does not care. The opposite of A.I. but so very similar. To breath in insanity and truly feel like your having a conversation with it. It’s an amazing experience. And I did this not even high. I was fucking 13. And I will always remember that day.

I don’t recommend that, watching all the terminator movies is like circling the drain, it’s great at first but the further you go the worse it gets, but it is a good example of what happens when a writer doesn’t branch out from an original work and just rewrites the same thing over and over again until they are a parody of themselves.

Here’s my advice, Watch Every single Terminator movie back to back and then instantly when you finish the last one I want you to drop everything you’re doing. Go find a nice safe outside area, alone if you prefer. And have a full 30 minute conversation with a tree. I do this sometimes. For some reason it’s great.

I think it’s good to take time to be on the other end of the spectrum, find a good novel or series and dive in. It’s probably important as an author to remind yourself what your audience feels when they read your story.
