Here's a work in progress shot of the next Claire page. Blue lines are my initial roughs. Red lines are "pencils", where I've tightened up my rough lines to make them easier to "ink". Black lines are, of course, "inks" - my final lines. Here I focus on depth, with line weight variation, spotted blacks and feathering/hatching.
