Ten years ago today.
My father passed away this morning.
I'd like to once again thank you all for your support for this past month or so as my family and I dealt with this situation. Your kind words helped a great deal during a very difficult and stressful time. If nothing else, it helped ease my mind about taking the time to be there with him up until the very end, and for that I'm eternally grateful.That being said, this is likely going to be my last post for a while as I take time to process...

As my dad's condition continues to worsen, it does help knowing many of you have expressed understanding that I need to take some time away from making comics, rather than feeling the burden of hitting deadlines while also trying to be there for him.-Yale

Been delaying talking about this for a while.Since about early September, my dad's been in and out of the hospital. We weren't sure if he'd be able to attend the wedding in September. At one point in October, the doctors told us he may have no more than week. Thankfully, that week came and went and he was still here.Today, however, we found out that the new round of chemo hasn't been working. We don't know how long he has left...
