Sketch/Mask WIPs for Beyond Beleaf
#1 - The original sketch! This is how it existed on my desktop since the end of September, lol. I liked the idea too much to just leave it this way, but I kept pushing off coloring it in favor of other things.#2 - A slightly earlier version, which I abandoned cause Ryan's head seemed too forward and not quite right for what I wanted.#3 - The color masks!#4 - A color WIP, and a slightly different background style that I abandoned.#5 - A versio...
No Little Runt Page This Friday
I've been focusing on taking care of some outstanding work, such as the Nes/Ryan comic yesterday, as well as some freelance work and general commission work. My plan is that once my waiting list is shorter, I'll start doing streaming! But I don't want to start doing that until I've taken care of what I think are some more important things - like waiting customers.I'm going to prioritize page 29 of Little Runt to be done someti...
Full-Res of Commission: S-HowlingStallion (Can I Do This?)
I really love how the mood in this one turned out, between the weather outside and the lighting conditions to match inside.
Sketch WIP for Commission: S-HowlingStallion (Can I Do This?)
This commission was originally supposed to just stay as a sketch, with some shading added, but I accidentally inked and colored it by accident before realizing my mistake, lol. So, you guys get to see somewhat how it was MEANT to look. X3 The second image is around where I realized my mistake, with no shading added and the colors not quite the same as the finished product.
EARLY PREVIEW: Cropped Frame from Upcoming Ryan/Nes Comic
...that's a long title.I don't want to give away what the comic is about, so I'm cropping this tightly, but here's a little preview of some upcoming art. x3 I'll hopefully have the comic out in less than a week.
THANK YOU! (Supporters for January 2020)
UPDATE: For some reason the post glitched, the image disappeared, and I couldn't add in a new one. I had to remake this post as a result. :PThis month's page features Taylor, because she's awesome and I miss her. <3 Also your pledges helped fund her end-of-life care, so it felt fitting! Thank you guys again so much for your support for my work and, inevitably, those I care about. <3I've changed the format for this one a little bit...
Little Runt (Page 28)
Thank you guys for waiting so patiently! I'm sorry for not getting this started sooner, but as I'm sure all of you know, I had some stuff come up last month that got in the way of me starting then. x3 Originally I was planning only a one month break.I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to have a page released every Friday, yet. I'll do pages when I can for now, and we'll go from there! But I wanted to at least get this one don...
Full-Res of Commission: Enadarxel (Ice Forging)
This is the first piece I've colored with my new monitor! The new color depth is so much better (8-bit), and I can see shades of things I couldn't before. I hope my illustration work really takes off now. :3
WIPs for Commission: Enadarxel (Ice Forging)
The colored version is a slightly earlier version of the final piece, without the frost effects added. The sketch ones feature a few different variations, like the different blade style.
Page 28 of Little Runt is in progress!
Since you guys have been waiting so long, I'll try to have it out by the weekend. :3
Full-Res of Commission: FoxyFriendBacklash
UPDATE: Oops, I accidentally had this for the wrong tier, and was locked for the $3 tier by accident. Fixed!
Sketch WIP for Commission: FoxyFriendBacklash
He's one of my supporters here!
EARLY PREVIEW: Zim's Expression Sheet #2
Here's half of the expressions from the upcoming expression sheet! :3
Sketch WIPs for Commission: Vincent Rake's Reference Sheet
Some sketch WIPs for this ref sheet!
Monthly Thank You Post Coming Soon
The past few months I had issues with a few people pledging for the month, getting a thank you post, then their card getting declined. ^^; In response to that, I'm moving my thank you post to be the first week of the month instead. :3So, if you pledged last month and were looking forward to being in the big thank you post? Don't worry, it's coming!
Little Runt Update
I'll be starting on the next page as soon as my current commission batch is completed.
Sketch WIP of Cruisin'
I almost left the drawing like this, but decided it really needed color to properly strike the mood I was lookign for. :3
Sketch WIPs for Zim's Expression Sheet #1
The second image has a first pass of the evil expression. It was redone a bit per the commissioner's feedback!
Thank You
I just wanted to say thanks to you guys for supporting me on Patreon. The past month has been quite difficult, and the various circumstances I've been going through resulted in me not being able to work as much as I normally would be able to. Having Patreon here as a form of passive, guaranteed income was insanely helpful to me, both financially and mentally. It took a lot of stress out of the situation that would have otherwise been there, a...
Full-Res of Nes Sitting
I might color this someday, or I could do a poll and ask for patrons to vote on what piece of art they want me to color!
Full-Res of Stone and Steel
As you can possibly see - the fur looks different here compared to some more of my recent paintings. That's because I discovered a much better brush for doing fur texture last spring while doing Dogbomb1's portrait. I've been using it ever since! Before that, I had to do my best with a more basic brush and smudge tools. It has it's own distinctive style, but I prefer my new method. It's faster, looks better (in my opinion) and...
Color WIPs for Stone and Steel
I think these posted in order lol? I uploaded them in a batch and the thumbnails seem right. The last image is just a version of the pic without the detail layer turned on, to show exactly how much painting I do on one layer. I do it that way for the sake of saving time - it's much more efficient!
Sketch WIPs for Stone and Steel
Hey fellas, I'm doing one more submission from my archive since I don't have any new art pieces/commissions to post here right this moment, but that'll hopefully be fixed in a couple of days. Normally I do commissions fast enough that I actually have to sometimes post multiple times a day to keep my scheduler from getting too long, but all the stuff that's happened to me the past couple of months have kind of interfered with that....
