In another stretch where I feel the need to revisit an earlier drawing that I felt didn’t quite live up to its promise. I mean, I’ve been doing this for more than 11 years and over 1,000 drawings— it’s gonna happen. Anyway, I like this Zatanna a lot better. Hope you agree. Oh, and I did a few variations on this with different lighting philosophies that I’ll let the higher tiers see.

Japes Art In 2025

I’d have to say I really struggled artistically in 2024. I think it was an animation piece that I spent tons of time on (and never came to fruition) that really broke me, but it’s not really a good sign when every month you think about going on hiatus, but don’t, because you worry you might not come back from it.
