big wuff censhi
i have a feeling some fans of censhi will lose their minds over this set
painted skulls
with gouache and ink and water! i can be as aggressive as i want with this board! and it will be great when i finally sell off originals because its a nice thick board and will be very hard to bend or crease when shipping
big wuff update
the folio is all transferred. it looks a bit messy right now but next step is the exciting stuff. tomorrow i have some examples to show how pumped i am to start painting on this kind of board so stay tuned
big wuff update
the first set is transferred. i know the lines are very light but i plan to first do an ink line then paint so a night light pencil would be best
paint tests
ok here is the idea. i simplify the shadows and highlights on the line work then i just "paint by numbers" my way into a finished painting.the first more "warmer" skull was painted with acrylic inks and copic markers. i did that to just test out how copics would work on the new canvas board. the second "greener" skull was acrylic inks and acryla gouache and yeah that is how i will paint a bunch of my folios. now the waterc...
big wuff update
ok next i will do some painting tests just to make sure its going to look right
big Wuff update
now the base colors are down i can transfer the lines to my board and get to painting
werewuff update
i cannot express how good it feels to be "back on track"
werewuff update
next comes the color guide and then the board transfer
blossoming udate
while i transfer these to watercolor board i will bring up the werewuff folio to this level as well
blossoming update
now i have the basic shadows and colors down i can transfer it to boards and start the final painting
werewuff update
i hope this is a sign im getting back to my usual speed and prolific quantity of finished work...AND i hope i didnt just jinx it
werewuff update
ok line work is ready for shadows and color template then i can transfer to canvas board.
blossoming update
next will be some flat colors to keep me on track for what palette i should use
blossoming update
i hate it when i get artist block. it makes it hard to work but there is a sense of relief when it goes away or at least lessens. i blocked in a simple shadow to use as a guide for after i transfer these to my watercolor board and use my acrylic inks and gouache
da wuff update
now for refinement
da wuff folio
these will just need one more layer of refinement before i transfer them to watercolor board though i will need to give them a simple color swatch to choose the right colors
comics update
i have had a short comic in mind where my bearded barbarian guy fights the polarbear woman.....after hours of work i only have this to show....i always feel bad with slow days
buggy time
color adding and refining
breed world update
pencils and a bit of digital ink before color
blossoming update
more line updates. i want to save these so i can easily make gouache versions
blossoming update
line cleanup
the wild lop
when she wants more then pokefud
the wild Lop
i came back to finish the pages i started
breed world update
just have that last page to refine then i can start penciling
fox and knight update
did the same digital overpainting again but soon realized i need to put a LOT mod dark pain on each of them before a paint over will be that effectivebut it gives me a good idea where to go from here
wuffy stocking
after i finished mishra with some digital i did the same for this one just punching up the shadows
mina mishra update
i fixed the colors in clip studio and now i can use this digital paint over as a guide to finish correcting the painting
blossoming update
now to decide how to finish these. should i go for a digital painting, comic book like or print out and full paint? or maybe just an ink wash
