Pluvium Workshop post Frieren both in oil and digital from patreon

Frieren both in oil and digital

I gotta say I like oil as much as digital now. Holding a brush feels fun, even though in many ways it is less convenient. The oil painting itself does take a bit more time than digital but not as long as I thought it would before I started. Digital this took around 2-3hrs, oil version took about 4-5hrs. Though the burden of composing was on digital, I would feel uncomfortable doing the color bashing method in oil for now. The time difference is pr...

Oil painting

Higher resolution. This is painted wet on wet, barely any knife usage or impasto. Painted in 2 sitting, I don't have the patience to wait for the paint to dry and come back to do layering i prefer doing it all in one go

Wtf is a grass

the brush. As seen on TVDecided to make this a free brush, its nothing special and I didn't spend much time calibrating it so use at your own peril. The sut (CSP)version looks a bit diff but I am sure it is probably fine maybe

Pluvium Workshop post Blackout from patreon

Blackout

Same brushes as usual

Full speedpaint at 4x speed

4x speed since you can still clearly see each individual brush stroke, 1x is too long and boring, but I can do lower speed if you guys think it will help for some reason.

Same resolution as the ones on twitter. These are scaled for pc backgrounds feel free to use them! In fact I don't mind anyone using any of my drawings as personal pc bg or pfp or any similar form as long as you are not using it for any commercial purpose or printing them. I would prefer credit if it is convenient for you. Thank.

Pluvium Workshop post CSP brushes from patreon

CSP brushes

Unfortunately, csp brushes gets laggy at above 550px for me, I still try to hit big gradient with 2k px brushes though since painting with big brush is irreplaceable for me. I tried my best to optimize it for my needs and these are basically the only brushes I use to paint on CSP.Disclaimer: I really don't think brushes make too much difference, you can see here a lot of area I just hit it with the round brush. A good portion of my paintings ...

Pluvium Workshop post Color calibration method from patreon

Color calibration method

I have a slightly new setup with my OLED monitor I got last year and photoshop that allows me to get way better feel with coloring. I think it will produce better coloring results but I will need a few more tests. I will share the method once I got it down. Don't have too much expectations though, it isnt a magic pill.

Timelapse

I will be uploading some longer time lapses (maybe 5min long) if anyone is interested in how my drawing process looks.
