Wild thought here ....but thinking back to the chain of command /reproduction for the chimera ants and seeing their behavior/personality now... Would it be possible that consuming humans could break that chain? At one point wouldn't they just be more part human than ants? 😅 How would that work?

Yeah, this was a very hard one for me to watch the first time. Even now when I know it's coming I still have a strong reaction to it. There's just something so visceral about the way Neferpitou violates Pokkle as a person and manipulates his brain to get information. From the red-casted lighting and sound of squirming brain matter, to the dead stare and drone-like way of talking, Pokkle is stripped down in every way and reduced to a Wikipedia entry of Nen. It gives me the heebie jeebies every time 😖

The moment Neferpitou was born you realize how much stronger she is, after this episode the first question that came to mind is how much stronger are the other royal guards? and how much stronger than that is the king?, just so many possiblities for things to go any direction now This episode is another great reminder to never put your guard down while watching this show, I can't wait to see yall's reaction for the rest of the arc

I do well with gore when it comes to fiction because I know it's not real, even more so when it's an animation. But when I saw the scene with neferpitou and pokkle for the first time, it genuinely made me feel sick to my stomach. Something that rarely if at all happens to me when watching tv/movies. This show really makes you feel some visceral feelings sometimes.

It's closer to how Riehlvelt and the other two "bad guys" (forgot their names) from heaven's arena got their Nen. I say closer but it's the exact same, they both were non Nen Users falling victim to a Nen attack with intent to kill but miraculously survived (not in one piece). Releasing their Nen.

Wait a minute! Just to clarify the moment Pitou was born she was already using a form of advance nen application known as "EN". Usually a person who just learned Nen, their aura stays minimum close to their body. However, Pitou did the opposite, she was already capable of spreading her aura all over the place the moment she hit the ground Rammot and Mr. Penguin felt it from affar. 4 Basic Principles of Nen - Nen meaning Aura/Life Energy 1) TEN is (Shield/Shroud) 2) ZETSU is (Surpress/Null/Hide) Advance Application of Zetsu is called "IN" meaning IN-visible (Kurapika used IN to make his chains INvisible capturing Uvo and Chrollo), to counter this use GYO (activates in the eyes to see something invisible while using via Ren) 3) REN is (Boosts/Enhance/Power up) Advance Application of both Ren and Ten is called "EN" (which was Pitou was using - spreading her aura) everytime you hear this word "EN" just picture a RADAR, ECHOLOCATION, HEAT SIGNATURE, OR NIGHTVISSION. It basically means sensing everything around you using your aura. 4) HATSU (Release/Act upon) This Hatsu basically converts physical and emotional energy directly towards a target meaning - TO ACTIVATE AN ATTACK! Therefore after Hatsu your Nen category activates (enhancer, transmuter, conjurer, manipulator, etc.) Example; Gon says rock, paper, scizzor then Gon attacks... (thats him activating hatsu means activating a nen ability from your own nen category) Its too much info but Ten, Ren, Zetsu, and Hatsu will be mentioned a lot just remember the (parenthesis parts of 4 nen principles) and difference between IN and EN. Btw huys, remember back when Gon and Killua just learned about Nen from Wing, he used this same method on them, he also shocked their body into awakening by exposing them to his hatsu, except back then as he said it wasn't by evil intentions... But with Rammot and Colt it's the opposite however it still bears the same results as long as they don't die first from the exposure. PS. Now I can never eat mac and cheese without this Pokkle image in my head!!

It’s important to know that humans can get reborn as Chimera Ants ONLY if they are eaten by the queen. Ponzu was eaten by a chimera ant soldier so she will never be reborn as a Chimera ant.

In the manga, Pokkle head is half open.. showing his brain and Neferpitou is pockkling it while his body is twitching. Neferpitou is already born with Nen and shes a Specialist. A crazy evil aura as what Pokkle says before he got pokkled.. Her Nen abilities are likely to be highly dangerous, as shown by how she pokkle Pokkle. 😱
