🕑 Added 2022-05-14 20:09:15 +0000 UTCwhether or not brilliant/crabman wins the poll, i was going to need to design one anyway, so here's where i've landed + some of my false starts as i tried to figure out what i even Wanted. the finalized crabman isn't The crabman character, but rather an average example of the species. a rough draft, at least. i need to deeply overthink their evolutionary biology before settling on anything.
i do think they evolved on the same planet as councilman somato's species though, which i Also still need to come up with a name for. maybe there's some history of symbiosis there--somato's species using shed exoskeletons as armor? somato's species providing cleaning services? who knows
